I really enjoyed this kidnapping, murder audio book. It is a sad subject, but the characters were colorful and not very likeable, except for one of the attorneys.

I am really enjoying this author's writing, the murders are thrilling and the characters are excellent. The narration is very good. Will be looking out for more books.

This novel feels like a harsh dose of reality. It’s one of those rare novels that can mimic real life in such a way it makes me a little uncomfortable. I think La Plante has an exceptional gift for description. I’m really impressed by her skill.
The story is decent and very heartbreaking. It zigged and zagged and the end actually surprised me.

Amazing descriptions

Lynda La Plante’s books have become my new favorite. Don’t think you necessarily have to read them in any certain order. This book has a good twist at the end.
