The story is cute but the narration sounded like Alexa was reading the text. It actually broke my concentration at times. The timing and inflection were off.

Nice short story.

Georgia Beers is my favorite WLW author and one of my faves overall. I'm used to her longer novels, but she proves with Triple Dog Dare that she is even better with novellas. In such a short amount of time, she developed all of the characters, not just the two main characters, to where you feel like you know them and you care about them. Even the dog she has in the story has a personality that you grow to love. There are no sex scenes in this short work, but I never felt like I missed it. The characters were so loveable and the attraction and love story that she builds between Sasha and Kennedy is so good that a sex scene isn't needed. This story will warm you to the core over the holidays and is one that I'm adding to my favorites list to listen to every Christmas season.

All the Good Feels of Christmas

Sasha Wolfe has had a fictional relationship for months. When her sister dares her to bring her home for Christmas she agrees. She hires her neighbor to pretend. Off they go on a triple dog dare. A fun folic on a Christmas romantic weekend. Great narration.

Pretend Girlfriend

Not an original story, I’ve read others but still cute nonetheless. However the narrator not a fan of. Unfortunately I listen to her on a different book, drove me nuts listening to and didn’t realize it was her for this one. For me her voice is annoying. It’s like every word she’s breathless over. Good book not so much on the narrator.

Cute

Really enjoyed the story and think I would have given this 5 stars if I would not have done the audio version. Narration sounded very computer generated, not like an actual person was reading it. At times I felt I was focusing on how the narration sounded instead of the actual story.

Good story

Very much a struggle for me as the narration was completely off. Love Beers books though

Tough Narration

I've listened to this narrator before, but something was off like she sounds computerized. was so odd it threw the story off for me

Narration threw off the story

I am a huge fan of Georgia Beers, and I love all of her books. This story line was great, hire someone to be your gf for Christmas and then bam, connection. But the narration was terrible. It felt like an AI, or Siri was reading to me. Very robotic. Such a let down.

Good story, terrible narrator

I own 25 of Georgia Beers' books. I have listed to most multiple times. I barely made it through this due to the narrator. I honestly thought I might be listening to an AI attempting to be human sounding. The emotions, tempo, and tone just sound... off to me. Definitely will not be purchasing another with this narrator.

Decent story - horrible narrator
