I liked everything, great book once again by this author! It’s like standing in the old west experiencing every detail. Th

The narrator makes it real! It’s a movie in the mind!

This story and ordeal of the mountain man shows me that who ever is writing the stories knows nothing about smoke or his past. The very least you could do is read about what your writing about. Smoke was not a run away from his parents wagon train. And he never I repeat never hired out his gun. You could at the very least have the respect for the original writer to keep the story straight.

Wrong there is so much wrong with this story.

The story is great but the narrator’s voice is too deep so it is hard to hear and stay focused on the book.
