About this listen

A daring pilot finds himself in danger of losing his heart.

Coast Guard pilot Nick Armstrong savors the taste of danger. But after his helicopter crashes into the ocean during a mission, shattering his knee, he encounters a whole different type of thrill when he meets his new physical therapist. Maybe being grounded isn't so bad after all.

Smart, sexy, and deeply guarded, Chloe Reynolds is the type of woman who drives Nick crazy for all the right reasons. But as she tries to help him heal, Chloe struggles to keep her heart - and secrets - safe.

For years, she has been told that Nick is responsible for her brother's death, a "fact" that she slowly learns may not contain the entire truth.

But can Chloe's growing feelings for Nick, and their undeniable chemistry, really overcome a years-long family feud? Or will the past ultimately destroy the future they both desperately want?

This is the third installment in this series and about Nick Armstrong, a Coast Guard rescue pilot who on his last mission was ended with a crash and losing his crew to the cold waters of the Bering Sea. Now he is back home with injuries and Chloe Reynolds is hired as a physical therapist to help him heal. She has secrets though and an agenda but once she gets to know Nick she knows what she has been told cannot be true. This was another great addition to this series and these two were made for each other and needed each other to help heal both their souls.

So far I have read 3 out of the 4 brothers stories. Can't wait to get to book 4.

Love the fly boys

While was still a HEA the fault didn’t rest on Nick and hated how everyone thought wise. I saw no reason for him to apologize - that should have been Chloe. Otherwise it was a great storyline.

Hated the ending

I like the story but some parts were a little laggy sorry! it is a very good escape though

very good

i loved the story mostly. i did not like how pushy the H was about sex with the h. she had legitimate reasons to not want to sleep with a patient.

there was no rape though, he always stopped when she said no, even though he pushed too far imo.

good addition

This has been a great story line. Enjoy the HEA of it and the build up to the story of Ace.

Wonderful story.

I guess this was written before the "Me Too" movement because Nick sure would have been busted for sexual harassment! Just trying to work my way through this series, each one a little better than the last. Still rolling my eyes at the consistent detailed sex in these books. One more to go and I can get back to mysteries and thrillers.

Not bad at all

the book was ok but it probably would have been better with a different narrator. It's unfortunate that all the books in the series were narrated by the same person. monotone throughout!!

not the best narrator

Another good addition to the Billionaire Aviators series. It does stand on its own but is enhanced when read in series order.

I liked the characters especially Dakota, a side character. The were a few rather melodramatic moments especially toward the end that were annoying and the ending came really fast. Overall worth the listen or read.
