About this listen

Charlotte Lane was the tomboy who lived next door. Eyes the color of the summer sky. Mounds of curly blond hair.

A little bit of sassy and a whole lot of sweet. She was my best friend. My confidant. My salvation.

But when circumstances tore us apart, it put more than just miles between us. I hated her. Blamed her for my worst nightmare. And I never wanted to see her again.

Then one wrong turn brought her back into my life, and now she's under my skin. In the midst of all the chaos surrounding us, she's what's changing me. Practically bringing me to my knees. Driving me to want to be a better man.

Our bond withstood the test of time, but when the future brings the unexpected, it will either draw us closer or tear us apart. Can we weather the storm?

ended too soon. I wanted it to go even longer. I have to imagine what happens in the years to come, with grandchildren following in the automotive footsteps

loved the story line

Really enjoyed the conclusion to the duet. The mystery unraveled with some interesting details and twists. The MC’s did grow and communicated. There was a HEA. Sebastian York is one of my favorite narrators.

It wasn’t boring

This was a great series, enjoyed the journey with Jasper and Charlie... the ending was my favorite with Jasper (Sabastian York) is the best narrator ❤️

Great story

Great ending to a great series. A couple if kids from across the tracks that had difficult times find each other again and work hard ti make their own HEA. As for narration, wonderful female and as usual, amazing male. After all, we are talking about Sebastian York!!!

Great ending & great series!

Low angst between love interest. Exciting plot discovery while maintaining a very light, listening experience. Look forward to listening to more by this author.

Easy listen

The book would have been so much better had Sebastian York just narrated it. CJ Bloom's voice is so high pitched I was constantly turning the volume down when she was narrating.

The book was a great conclusion from the first book that was such a cliffhanger.

More York and less Bloom

That character is the reason I give this a 4! I don't want to give any spoilers but when you listen you will understand!

I enjoyed this book but I fought sometimes to stay interested. One long book would have been better. I'm glad I read to the end nonetheless.

I enjoyed this book but ...
