A Winner!

A great Alpha and Omega story. There are lots of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. Caleb and Victor have quite to journey to go through to get to their HEA but it is all worth it in the end. Each is just what the other needs. Randi Johnson does a wonderful job of giving voice to these characters. I really enjoyed this audiobook!

Thanks for the ACX

Thank you for the ACX Audio, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. This was a great emotional story from loss and new love. When Matt is losing everything he meets Alistair. His business and home life life was going down the drain he stopped believing in love and that was his business. Alistair was running from the hurt of his past only to have it catch up with him when he was just making a new life with Matt. When rumor mills start can Matt look past the lies to see the truth or loss out on happiness? This was a wonderful audio and Randi Johnson is a wonderful story teller.

Ok story.

The story seemed ok. I actually thought the first book of this series was decent. Not sure if it was the narrator or not. I have listened to him with other books and he is not bad. I just sometimes get confused as to which characters are speaking.

I was given this book by request for my unbiased review.

Enjoyable story

The story is about a romance between shifter and human. There's problems and mysteries surrounding our MCs and you feel compelled to find out what they are and how the romance develops. All the story line seemed to resolve OK but there are two niggling things: Kenneth's explanation of why he was so mean to Alistair did not make sense. And he was really mean to the point where I wanted Alistair to just punch the guy (regardless of the consequences). And then I didn't like the fact that Will was out of a job (his choice but still) and it kind of sucks! Matthew should have at least talked to Will before hand. These are just minor things. Overall, it's an enjoyable story.

Enjoyable Story.

This story was enjoyable. It could have been better. The complaint I have is, the narration. The narrator needs to work on his changing of voices. He practically used the same voice for each character. I found myself a lot wondering which character was speaking now, and who's who.🤔

A sweet, satisfying story

This is nice, lighthearted book about two hurting men finding their happily ever after. The narration is excellent and really adds to the experience.

Twice Bitten

A love story that will break your heart and sew it back together. I absolutely loved these two and their immediate chemistry is explosive. I will definitely be looking for more in this series.
The narrator did a fabulous job! For a narrator without many books out he has came out with a bang and will do great with this career.

Cute story

Enjoyable read but not my favorite of the Welcome to Wheaton series. Matthew and Alistair was good together, but I hate the fact that they almost made a silly rumor ruined a good thing. This is a first time narrator for me and I'm not sure about him. The words ran together and his voice didn't change for the characters, or for the tone of the story. If you love mpreg romance you can give this a try, the story was engaging. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this review.

Not one of Walker's best

I was looking forward to Matthew's story, but although the story was alright, it just wasn't quite up to par. This is a 3.5 star rating rounded down. The main reason I can't give that extra star is because of the sex scenes. This is not an ABO series; therefore, no possibility of natural lubrication. There is little to no foreplay that would be a natural part of the situation, and absolutely no preparation. And, there is no mention of pain or discomfort. This is not a BDSM story. This completely turned me off of the sexy times altogether. They just didn't seem realistic.

And as with the first book in the series (if I'm remembering correctly from when I read it), there is no explanation and/or reference to the fact that men, human and werewolf alike, can get pregnant. And, given one of the MC's past, knowing the possibility of a pregnancy, no protection was used or even mentioned until the other MC was already pregnant. This is a big plot hole to me, but that could just be my personal hang-up.

The narration was good. A little more differentiation between the characters would be good, but it doesn't detract from the story. The cadence and inflections were done well. Although at times, he seems a little too upbeat for the situation at hand. But from the beginning, the narrator is a very upbeat kind of performer. I will be happy to hear from him again in the future.

emotions, drama and laughter

Rumors, gossip, lies. Top that off with the baggage of past relationships and you have insurmountable obstacles-IF YOU LET THEM! I loved the tenacity of both main characters and the heart they put into getting it right this time. sweet ending. The narrator was entertaining.
