Publisher's summary

Their plan was brilliant,
their tactics cunning,
but then came a twist
they never saw coming.

Imagine Breaking Bad meets The Sum of All Fears.

In Twist and Turn, author Tim Tigner once again delivers a fast-paced, unpredictable ride destined to delight his fans. Replete with the clever characters, original intrigue, and thought-provoking predicaments that distinguish his thrillers, the fourth chapter of the international best-selling Kyle Achilles series will turn your throat dry and keep you listening.

At the center of the action is a - well, we don’t want to spoil it.

And then there’s the - oh, best not to mention that either.

Suffice it to say that the villains are fresh, complex, and fascinating. Their plots inventive and scary. But Katya is back at Achilles’ side, so we might not need to worry. Unless...

Amazon named Tim Tigner an All-Star Author in December 2017 and every month since for being one of the most popular authors in Kindle Unlimited.

Absolutely

Outstanding! Twist and turn is an understatement, what a fantastic imagination Mr. Tigner has! The previous books were very good but this went to a level beyond expectations. Non stop action that Mr. Brick does a great job of relaying, besides the action it’s an emotional roller coaster too. I can not wait for the next!

Love Kyle Achilles !!!!

This is the forth book in the Kyle Achilles series. In my opinion this is the BEST one in the series!!
Although the publisher's summary is vague it certainly provokes interest. I will only add a little as this book is too good to give too much away.
Kyle and Katia are at an exclusive restaurant where there is a $400/plate convention going on. Everyone is anesthetized including them. When they wake up they're in the bunker of a prepper. Their kidnappers are demanding $2 million from each of the 50 people taken. The kidnappers were not counting on someone with Kyle Achilles skills...
This book is so fast paced. The action doesn't stop and "Twist and Turn(s)" are abundant.
This book has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!
Scott Brick does a fabulous job narrating.

Just love this Achilles character!

I’ve read or listened to the entire Achilles series. Not only is Tim Tigner a perceptive and crafty writer, he brings unique plots along with up to date technology into the stories. Looking forward to the next book. It would be impossible to give anything less than 5 stars.

Fantastic yarn!

In the past few years, Tim Tiger has become my most favorite author. Every one of his books is a non-stop thriller, full of unexpected plot twists and unique story lines. I consider this book to be his very best.—his very best to date, that is. And, of course, Scott Brick remains at the top of his game. I can’t wait for his next Achilles novel.

Another great Tigner book.

Not much to say. If you have gotten this far with Achilles this one won't disappoint.

Two Stories in One

I like the character of Kyle Achilles and the writing style of Tigner. Although there are places the reader must make a leap of faith about how things come together, there are interesting dilemmas that Kyle must decipher to succeed in his quest. Tigner's writing style helps to keep the story suspenseful and sufficiently believable to continue reading and not "eye roll" too much. I especially like that he does not spend an inordinate amount of time describing every detail of the guns, bombs, or pieces of equipment. I'm not usually a fan of the protagonist having a spouse or significant other tied into the plot and action, but Katya is tolerable in the two books I've read.

There are basically two stories in this book that are connected by an odd turn of events. I think each storyline could have stood on its own in lieu of combining them in one book. I think the story could have been 4 stars but I dropped down to 3 stars because of the awkward joining of the two stories. Overall, the story is closer to 3.5 stars. I don't want to go into the plot too much because it might spoil a couple of the parts of the book. I guess this is why the description of the book is so weirdly vague. Since I have ended up reading the books in opposite order, all I can say is if you liked Boundless Ambition, I think you would like this book.

Hard to put down

Interesting plot that moves at a good pace and keeps a reader guessing all the way to the end.

True to its title, in more ways than one

This was not the first Tim Tigner book I listened to, so I thought I knew what to expect; especially when the story started out with a (not quite real) technical gadget. But boy, was I surprised. The plot took several completely unanticipated turns and ended up somewhere completely different than I would ave thought. I mean that in the most positive way though! Very exciting, great suspense.

If you liked any other book by Tim Tigner, definitely give this one a go too.
