About this listen

Uber Taxi Cab Confessions is a whirlwind tour of true short stories viewed through the eyes of a part time Uber driver. You will be a passenger on every ride, discovering the hottest bars and restaurants and the secret after-hour clubs in Fairfield County as we pick up riders and take them to wherever they want to go. Your life changes once you turn on the Uber app. The show begins as soon as a rider opens the door to your cab. You never know what personality you will have to have until you greet your passenger. You may need to be a weatherman offering the latest forecast or acting as a political analyst. Sometimes you will have to be the rider's personal shrink, and other times a comedian or an imaginative story teller. I now have acquired multiple personalities to match each rider's MO. I must be pretty good at that. I get a five-star rating on almost every ride, plus I get crazy good tips by agreeing with everything they say.

Confessions is a collection of what happens in the back seat of my Uber cab. Hear about the two chefs cooking in the back seat. Or the very intoxicated woman who leaves her dog in my cab. But one of the funniest stories is about the man who was so big, the backdoor had to be removed to get him out. The Uber concept is amazing. It's so much fun to be a driver. I have included a list of tips and suggestions for both drivers and riders that are also very amusing. So buckle your seat belt and listen on.

Included in the Uber Taxi Cab Confessions audiobook is a PDF file which contains over 35 chapter-by-chapter illustrations for your enjoyment, plus "clickable" links as mentioned in the book.

Great stories!!!

You would think these are made up, but the reality is you can also see them all occurring especially if you ever met Joe. He was my UBER driver a few weeks ago! Loved the book but enjoyed being in his UBER even more.

this guy had a terrible voice answer sounded like he had a mouth full of marbles. answer also was a heavy breather. and found his stories somewhat made up when he talked about himself.

I wanna be an UBER driver after reading this book!

Would you consider the audio edition of Uber Taxi Cab Confessions to be better than the print version?

Must buy paperback version for my coffee table and bathroom.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Joe the Driver. He witnessed all these crazy insane rider experiences and got paid for it. What a job ! ! !

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Probably the story about the two dessert chefs creating a box of specially made desserts for a VIP in their NY City SOHO restaurant while in the back seat driving down I-95. But the Pro Wrestler story who could not get out of the cab was a close second.

Any additional comments?

The audio book came with an additional pdf file which contains all the books great illustrations and clickable links to the author's references. The pictures tell the story but the narration by the writer is the "icing on the cake".

Beware you will beg for more.

Once you get through the third short story, you're hooked. I could not stop listening to this audiobook. Each chapter got funnier and crazier. I finished the audiobook in bed with earphones on picturing each story in my head and waking my wife up three times because I burst out laughing at what I was hearing. I got to listen to it again tonight. The narrator author is a great short story teller in his own rite. He is your average Joe driving an Uber taxi with you next to him in the front seat. I hope this is the first in a series, please! I NEED MORE!
