About this listen

International art dealer Louis Dubose has been murdered, and the police are certain that they've got their man. Ben Robinson, recently fired by Dubose, has a motive backed by a convincing trail of evidence, and it looks like an open-and-shut case. But one woman, who knows Ben all too well, isn't convinced. Sharon Robinson is about to gamble her own well-being on Ben's innocence, even though her personal indictment against him is almost as bitter as murder.

More than merely a superbly crafted suspense novel, Terri Blackstock's best-selling Ulterior Motives is a wrenching portrayal of the cost of forgiveness, of innocence and faith pitted against monstrous evil, and of skepticism's journey to Christianity.

Suspense from page 1

Terri Blackstock is a master at keeping you involved WITHOUT abusive language and explicit sexual language. I totally enjoy reading her stories!

Narrators are Awful!

Terri Blackstock is a favorite, but the narrators ruined this book! They even have sound effects in the background that are very distracting. Sample before you purchase.

great production, stirring story

this tale will keep you riveted, a good reminder of God's ways. a wonderful representation of the difference between acting Christ like and letting God change the heart to be Christ like, in spirit and in truth.

4th chapter repeats itself in narration before end

What three words best describe Full Cast’s voice?

Cast voice good, but electronic transmission ruined in last chapter.

Any additional comments?

Good story. Sad ruined by book repeating itself before end of story.

Ulterior Motive review

I love most of her books but this one seemed a little juvenile. It could have been the readers.

Seems like a shortened version of a book

The first book was 10 hrs + narrated. This one is just over 3. The story seems fast and with less details than Terri normally writes. I almost wonder if this is a shortened version of the book than a full book.
