Sarah Grayson and her capable cat, Elvis, go undercover in the newest installment of the New York Times best-selling Second Chance Cat Mysteries.

Sarah and Elvis can always be found at a charming secondhand shop in the village of North Harbor, Maine. Despite the small-town setting, the daring duo often find themselves wrapped up in murder, but luckily they have help - a quirky group of senior citizens runs an amateur detective agency called Charlotte's Angels out of the store.

The Angels are hired to look into who is sabotaging cat shows in the state, and they decide the best way to do that is to send Elvis the cat undercover as a contestant. But then one of the cat show volunteers is murdered just before the latest competition, and Sarah and the Angels have to catch a killer in two shakes of a cat's tail!

I love, love, love this series and feel the need to defend against the critics who complained that a CLEAN story can't contain a non-traditional relationship. Of course, those are likely the same folks who believe all forms of human affection is DIRTY. FYI, there is little to no explicit gore or sexual situations but - horror of horrors - there are diverse characters.

I love the mystery Elvis and the protagonist. It is fun romantic entertaining and clean. This is not easy to do.

I loved it, had no problem following the story.
Just couldn't understand how it took so long to get the clue about the potato chips to click.

Storyline- slightly predictable but still entertaining. Really need more of Elvis’ lie detecting abilities here. The cat show experience is accurate as the author has done her research. More character developments it seems and less of repetition on who is who and what. The romances didn’t hurt at all. Overall well done and I look forward to more!!!!! (Hopefully this is not the last?) More Elvis!

I loved that we got to see a cat show! That was a lot of fun! As usual, the plot was good- kept me guessing!
These characters are so endearing, and I love getting to know them more.

Elvis is entered into a Cat Show to help the Angels solve another case involving some mysterious, recurring vandalism @ a group of Cat Shows. The senior sleuths, along with Sarah & some close friends agree to help. Sarah owns Second Chance, a store for repurposed items & has been adopted by Elvis the cat & they all set out to solve another mystery that soon involves murder. Although I had figured out the main antagonist long before the conclusion, I still enjoy the camaraderie of the usual characters in this series. It seems like a small town that I would like to live in. I love this series!
