I just really loved this book. There was some angst but there was even more love. This book made me smile so many times. I loved little Remy. Sometimes characters keep things from each other for such stupid reasons and that didn't happen with this book. There were some hurddles to get through but they went through them together and that is my favorite kind of book. The narrators did a great job also.

I really enjoyed this book, even though it was completely unrealistic. I guess that’s why it’s fiction. I thought their romance happened way too fast, but it was really sweet and I still was glued to every word saying Aww every 5 seconds. I would definitely recommend if you want a light whirlwind romance with some added drama. Excited for the next book to see what happens with Winter.

Kristin Mayer has surprised me with all her books, so far I really love how each story has different storylines each refreshing and new with new situations and unexpected twists . This story is a good romance with a couple that are strong and both are dealing with major life issues . This was well performed. Check it out its worth your time to listen to it.

My first book from the author. Good read! Lots of interesting storylines. Blink and miss the sexy parts though. The female narrator didn’t do it for me. She has so much potential and does a great kids voice but the male POV was irritating and her own POV seemed bored. Thankfully, the male narrator is one of my favorites and the story was engaging from the first chapter so All in all, it had me hoping there was a second book telling Winters story. happy to report that there is. One more note - I liked that the author used actual unanswered questions to keep the pages turning instead of the usual deceit between the characters. So much honesty between the two was refreshing!

Narration was great! What I liked best about this story is this couple Communicated. I get so frustrated with couples with these stories that assume feelings and make decision on those assumptions. How refreshing this story was that this couple leaned on each other talked to each other. I enjoyed this story so much. Worth a credit & must listen!

This book wasn’t as good as the others I read from this author. Honestly, I think the female narrator ruined it for me. She wasn’t the worst I’ve ever heard but she had very little expression in her voice

This book just goes to show that the main characters in a story who have good communication with each other can still produce a wonderful story. I love that the drama isn't due to stupid communication issues between Addelyn and Lucian, but the issues that did develop we see them working together as a team to overcome them.
Remy of course steals the show, but not by being obnoxious or smart mouthed - which seems the way a lot of authors think makes a kid seem cute or funny (newsflash, it doesn't). Kristen Mayer does a great job developing a child character that is adorably funny, sweet and loving.
The narrators did a good job - Rita needs to work a bit on her male voices but neither her nor Matt's narration took away from the story. To me that makes for a competent narrator. I really liked that neither of their voices were over the top or over dramatized.
Overall, this is just a feel good, lovely story that isn't focused on drama or gratuitous sex. While there are some sexy scenes, it doesn't take over the story, making you feel like that's all they do. You can feel the love, admiration and respect that these two people develop along the way.

Too many things happening at once, and then you get kind of “meh” resolutions to some of the problems.

I didn’t feel the chemistry, and I did not like the female narrator.

It has many 5 Stars reviews so please don’t let my opinion stop you from listening. The book was just not for me.
