"I don't understand why people don't talk things out." (Reagan O'Riley, MD)
Too bad she did not take her own medicine.
Book two (parts 1 & 2) of The McKinnon Legends is aptly named Unfinished Business and finds Connor Holden, earl of Featherstone, squarely in a place he never felt he would be - in love with a woman he does not know how to win. Losing is something Connor has never experienced, and he does not plan on his quest for Reagan's heart to be his one failing.
Book two (parts 1 & 2) of this eight-part series focuses on the characters who are rough around the edges: Connor Holden and the fiery Irish physician, Reagan O'Riley. Both characters introduced in book one, The Beginning, have come back together in a dynamic love story full of misunderstanding, deception, and ultimately forgiveness. The growth they experience through the journey comes at a great cost, as is usually the case when lessons are learned the hard way.
Nic and Morgan McKinnon, duke and duchess of Seabridge, are prominent players in Unfinished Business, as it would not be complete without their rock-solid presence. Several more characters are introduced, further layering the story more deeply and fully and propelling it forward through time.
Join them on their quest to become The McKinnon Legends.

What about Cait Frizzell’s performance did you like?
I loved her voice. It just flowed. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, I think I listened to it in two days .... Didnt want to stop listening.Any additional comments?
I love time travel stories, that being said this is not all about time travel. The book takes so many twist and turns that you don't see coming. I really enjoyed that very much. I wanted to smack both the main characters at different points in to book. It was a roller coaster of emotions at times, funny, sad, angry. But that's what you are looking for in a good book. I hope the rest of the series comes out in audio. Enjoy!!Great series, roller coaster of action.

What did you like best about Unfinished Business, Parts 1 & 2? What did you like least?
Overall I liked the story. It was filled with interesting characters and plots. However, the author builds most of the story around the same kind of misunderstanding that occurred in the first book of this series. But this time the misunderstanding lasts for years, causes death and chaos. It seems unlikely such a misunderstanding would take so long to resolve. I grew weary of waiting for all to be discovered and explained. But the story was good enough that I dealt with the irritation to see how everything worked out.
Had to see how it ended....
