About this listen

From USA Today Bestselling author Marley Valentine comes her debut, a bisexual awakening, age-gap, sapphic romance.

At twenty-four, I'd already lived a thousand lives.

I was a daughter.

An orphan.

A foster kid.

A sister.

Someone to everyone, and yet I was unrecognizable to myself. I spent my time keeping everybody else afloat, while I was slowly drowning.

Until I met her.

The first time she walked into my life, I was mesmerized by the mysterious stranger. When I came face-to-face with her a second time, I was being introduced to my best friend's mother.

We were worlds and experiences apart, unlikely in every sense of the word.

Everything between us was unexpected. Our attraction to one another, the secrets I shared, and the cracked pieces of her I so badly wanted to put back together.

We broke.

We healed.

We loved.

Desperately.

But I didn't know how to love her without losing myself, and if she discovered the cost, I knew she wouldn't let me.

Such a beautiful story!!

This book was so beautifully written. I listened to it straight through. The narrators were amazing! I love Quinn Riley, I would listen to anything narrated by her. I have never heard of the other narrator, but she was amazing as well! Such an amazing book, I will definitely listen to it again! ❤️❤️

Decent

The overall story really is very good. My only complaint is the narration. Quinn is great, as usual, but I found the accent of the other narrator to be distracting. It was like her chapters changed the characters into members of the NY mafia or something. In my opinion, it didn't fit the characters (especially the guys) in this story.

Unlikely

This was a nice little age-gap, forbidden romance. A stand-alone book, but part of a series - which I didn't know of course until halfway through this one. You don't have to read the others, but I do like knowing other characters have their own stories.

This one is about Clem and Zara, who hook up one night before realizing they have a mutual connection to each other. When they meet up again, things are complicated, but they can't deny the attraction that's still there between them.

A good read...I look forward to reading more from this author. The narrators did a great job as well!

enjoyed it!

this author needs to do more f/f books! I really enjoyed this one. I think this is her first f/f books and she knocked it out of the park. I hope she comes out with more f/f novels.
