About this listen

Evil deeds that go unpunished only ever lead to more tragedy.

A terrible atrocity kills hundreds of people, of which most are children.

Twenty years later the men behind it are still unpunished. Not only that, they are now embroiled in new atrocities.

But someone wants punishment. Someone willing to hire the best to achieve it. Hire Azrael, master assassin.

Sent into a war zone to hunt three men, Peter Black, along with his son and apprentice Michael, must tread a fine line along the edges of the fighting in order to reach their targets.

But as they pick up the scent, they discover that these unpunished men are on a mission of their own. One which will lead to unimaginable horror if it isn’t stopped.

Great Story!

Another great Peter Black novel! I thought the storyline was well developed, and there were enough twists and turns to keep you wandering, but never able to figure out how it would turn out. I recommend this book to those who enjoyed the first two. I’m a big fan of this writer and the narrator is excellent.

Excellent

A superbly written story encompassing contemporary happenings in the world. A father & son assassin team operating in the heart of the fighting in Ukraine. Well described hand to hand combat sequences. Altogether excellent.

Good story and good narrator

Third installment of assassin series. Fun story, especially if one doesn’t like Russians and likes to root for professional killers 🤣

Glock 17 with a hammer?

An otherwise good story but I am constantly ripped out of the story by inaccurate firearm terminology like "clips" for "magazine" and a Glock 17's "hammer" being cocked when it neither has a hammer nor is it "cocked." There is a difference; little like someone saying "pressed on the clutch while shifting an automatic car."

I would recommend the author consult with at least one person who is knowledgeable about firearms since it is an integral part of his series.
