Wonderful! The only word I can think of

The only word I can think of to describe this narration. The Arthur masterfully takes you into the life of This amazing woman. It is with new eyes I see David and much more importantly device in which I see the Lord God Almighty. Thank you so much for making this a record book.

Characters come alive.

Francine Rivers takes ancient “tales” and infuses them with life. She presents Biblical hero’s as the flawed and imperfect humans they were and shows Gods mercy and Grace through out her books. Sometimes putting scripture in their mouths.

Outstanding!

This story gives you a completely different view of David's sin with Bathsheba. It's told from both David and Bathsheba's viewpoints. I now realize that Bathsheba's sin with David destroyed parts of her life also as she was labeled as an adulterous and shunned.

The Plot

I enjoyed how seamless it was with the story of David in the Bible. Bathsheba’s story was sketchy but the author filled in the gaps with finesse.
