The men of the Marsh family have spent their lives riding hard, in and out of the saddle. None of them has any plans on settling down. Falling in love just isn't for them. Or so they thought.
Book one: Feels Like the First Time
When Clint Marsh pulls a woman from an overturned semi on a county road in Florida, he expects only to do a good deed then get back on his motorcycle and head home.
The woman turns out to be Lily Ridenger, his first love, and the one woman who has the ability to turn his thoughts to sin with a single look. She's in need of a place to stay and he has room to spare. So what if there are still unresolved feelings? Chances are they'll hook up, have sex hot enough to start a fire, and go their separate ways. At least that's what Clint thought....
He thought wrong.
Book two: When You Least Expect It
Cam Marsh figured he was following in his older brother Colton's footsteps. A confirmed bachelor. Not that he had anything against settling down. He'd just never met a woman he wanted to settle down with.
Then out of the blue the first girl he ever loved shows up next door. Ellie Whitehorse has inherited her father's ranch, such as it is, and seeing her brings back feelings he'd all but forgotten, along with inspiring some new ones.
Book three: Colton's Memory
When Colton Marsh gets a call about a classic car that's broken down near the belly dancing school run by his best friend's mother, he figures he'll get the car up and running, collect his pay, and then head on back to his ranch.
Wrong. Memory Wells lights a fire of lust inside him stronger than anything he’s ever experienced, and she makes it quite clear that she’s as hot for him as he is for her. ©2014 Ciana Stone (P)2015 Ciana StoneListeners also enjoyed...

Ciana Stone again gives a very enjoyable listen. I love these 3-story romances. The Marsh brothers bring us a variety of personalities with good looks, interesting women and hot sex. Beginning with Clint and Lily, second chance romance is alive and well. Little, did we know that Lily's estranged husband was crazy! And Lily has fire power...literally. This story was fun, fast paced and just enough suspense. Bringing us to Cam and Ellie, another second chance romance. Who would have thought after so many years, these two would come back together. I loved the puzzle Ellie put together and finding out her heritage. Again, a little paranormal, and just enough suspense. Lastly, Colton and Memory bring them all together. Memory had the most interesting of the powers, and I loved her immediate chemistry with Colton.
I especially loved the cross reference of the Nash family from The Whisperers trilogy. It is always fun to bring old "friends" back in.
Eric G Dove is an amazing narrator with any book he does. He as usual brings it all to the table and makes for an wondeful listen.

Points for making me curious enough to research Florida Ranching.Yep, that's how I'm starting out my review. I totally had to look it up because I've always imagined Florida as 95% swamp & alligators, and 5% Mickey Mouse.
*(I know. I'm sorry Florida!)
That said. This book was different. I read the reviews beforehand, so I walked into this one expecting hot cowboys with a paranormal theme.
Silly me, I read "paranormal" and was expecting werewolves.
There were no werewolves (this is fine, I get my shifter fixes aplenty) BUT there were semi truck wrecks, explosions, fires, vindictive loan sharks, bad exes, dead exes, cows, dreams, horses, bizarre deaths involving planes and hot air balloons and then there were treasure maps and deadly billionaires and fae and cowboy & cowgirl sex all narrated by the super smooth voice of Eric Dove.
If you're tired of... whatever the heck you were reading previously, this book won't be anything like it, I'm pretty certain. Was it super hot? Nope, for those who prefer their romance to be lite on showing bedroom action, you'll feel comfortable with this one.
Overall was it a good listen? It was okay. The storylines certainly strove to be different and interesting, but I never quite reached emotional investment in the characters or their relationships.
Let's talk narration. Eric Dove has a nice voice. Perfectly fit my mental image for a cowboy's voice. His delivery reminded me a bit of Jim Frangione, but imagine a more relaxed, natural cadence to the reading. Nice.
As a side note. Rating narrators is difficult. Is the audio quality good? Yes. Is the voice good? Easy to listen to? Paced well? Yes, yes, yep. What's the hang up then?? Well, I am simultaneously listening to an audio with Sebastian York and I've got to rehaul the way I rank narrators because Eric Dove has a perfectly nice voice, but when you compare to York... see? Those of you who've listened to him know what the problem is: Unfair to compare to other narrators. So! Heretofore, Sebastian gets his own category, and I'm going to say great job Dove, full stars for a beautifully done audio. (And even though I haven't written a review for it yet, I can tell you Reasonable Doubt by Whitney G voiced by York and the fabulous Erin Mallon is AWESOME, I fuhreakin' LOVED listening to it)

I apologize to the State of Florida

The narrator has for a few years become one of my favorite, I know when I see his name it is going to be an exciting listen filled with emotion, passion, he knows how to bring the stories to life as he puts his self into the role of the characters. There are no background noise, no volume change, if any breaks were taken I could not tell, it was a very clear audio that is filled with true emotion, energy, compaction, angry and so much more. His male voice are just as good as his female one, he really makes you feel what the characters fill. He never lets me down, I know when I pick up one of his audios I am in for a thrilling ride that I won’t be able to put down.
This is a story about finding yourself and the power you have, it is about finding lost love, the one that got away, it is about doing a right that was wronged, about growing, learning, healing and loving as you find your place in the world. Six people who in many ways were lost but as they come together they find family, healing and a place to call their own. I really enjoyed their story, I smiled, laughed and at times I thought OH NO, there was even a time I laughed out loud at one of the persons last names, it took me awhile to get over that, so funny. I think the author and narrator put out a wonderful, delightful, fun listen that I wish had not ended.
