About this listen

She’s one human in an infinite city—and he will not stop until he possesses her.

It should have been an easy job—deliver the ID chip, get paid, and get out. But when Drakkal sees a beautiful human in his client’s private zoo and instantly recognizes her as his mate, the situation gets complicated. The motto he’s long lived by—don’t be stupid—is cast aside as the beast in him demands he take this female and make her his, no matter what he must do. And when she runs from him, the hunt is on.

After being impregnated by her dirtbag ex-boyfriend, abducted, and sold to be a breeder in a rich alien’s basement menagerie, Shay has to admit things aren’t looking great. But she’s determined to give her unborn child a decent life. Her first opportunity appears in the form of a gruff but insanely attractive azhera who forces Shay’s owner to sell her to him. Refusing to trade one alien master for another, she escapes him at her first chance. Yet, Shay can’t forget the intense azhera and his heated stare—and soon realizes that he’s not going to forget her, either.

But Shay’s former owner also remembers, and he’s determined to retrieve his prized possession—and have his revenge on the azhera who took her.

The Azhera gets a girl

And she's just as fierce as he is . . . Even pregnant she was kicking ass . . . I love it.

Omg I love it!!!

I’ve been a little in love with Drakkal since the second book in the series. And when I hear the accent and voice of Jamie Treselyan bring him to life I fell I. Love a little more. This story was so good Shay napped on earth and place in an exotic zoo in Arthos was not how she saw her life going. And being pregnant was not in the cards either but she would change that for anything. What she needs is help and a safe place to stay. Drakkal is an Azera it is predator feline like species and the head of security for Arc. When he sees Shay in the zoo for the first time smells her sent he knows she’s his other half his mate. And there will be no one and nothing that will hurt her or take her away from him. This book is phenomenal! Jamie Treselyan does these best character narrations I’ve ever heard. His individual voice bring every character to life. Especially Drakkal oh lord if his voice isn’t fire 🔥 I dont know what is. Highly recommend the book and the audio.

This series is yum

This series is wonderful. Each book gets better and better. I’m a huge fan of this author, and I hope to see more of their books on Audible soon.

Love love.

I love the whole infinite city series, I’m having a furry Ware cat as the MMC is pretty amazing. Also, I love a good bad ass heroin. And the narrator is pretty great at accents.

An Instant Favorite!

Wow. This book is a wonderful next chapter in this series. After Arcanthus got his perfect match, I couldn’t imagine where the authors would go for Drakkal. I should have known they would dream up the perfect woman for him. Shay is a kickass heroine who could survive on her own, but why? Shay and Drakkal compliment each other, and they make each other complete. It was fun watching Arcanthus playing the role of reasonable one for Drakkal! Great role-reversal! The steam level with these two was off the charts, and yet, watching the big kitty turn to mush over Shay’s cub was so sweet. Another awesome story! Thank you, Tiffany & Robert!

Jamie Treselyan is a master narrator. His range of voices is unmatched. He brings each character to life in a way that enhances what was already an excellent book! Thank you, Jamie!

One of Mr. Treselyan's best performances to date!

First off SHAY. IS. AWESOME!

She’s probably one of my favorite protagonists from this series. I loved them all for different reasons, but Shay is a certified BADASS. She’s the type of character I’d probably be friends with if I’m being honest. lol
She’s strong, resilient, skilled, takes no shit from anyone and knows what she wants AND she kicks ass while pregnant. How great is that? More books should absolutely have more characters like her because she’s a breath of fresh air in this genre.
Shay was the best match for Drakkal given his personality. Plus, he was so patient with her (and himself) and I loved reading about how their relationship gradually developed into something beautiful and heart-warming.
The villains were infuriating (which means they were well written to the point of making me angry, haha) although I… kind of developed a soft spot for Nostrus for some reason. No joke, I almost thought he was going to switch sides lol
Tiffany Roberts' writing grips your heart and allows you no respite but when it does? Oh hell, it’s glorious and you feel vindicated.

And all of the characters are brought to a whole new dimension by Mr. Treselyan’s narration, of course! I think he might be my favourite narrator at the moment. Every character is/sounds unique with their own accents, tones and mannerisms. Not a single one sounds alike (the RANGE!!) and yes, even the women. How does he do it? Voice magic? I don’t know, but I was extremely fascinated and entertained.
I loved certain specific scenes which are too spoiler-y for me to write about, but if you’re reading this review and wondering “well, but how’s the spice?” and the answer is “better than what you’re thinking”, which it is. Speaking of which, there's actual purring and growling, that's how committed the narrator was to his role(s), he's just such a good fit for Drakkal!

I’m honestly really happy we’ve got a narrator/actor that is passionate about what he does because it definitely shows! The Infinite City is one of my favorite book series to date and it’s awesome to know it’s in such good hands.

Slow start

But was better as book moved forward; lots of action in the last two hours. Jamie did an excellent job with characters. Shay had to grow on me; not fond of overly abrasive females. I like the voices Jamie used for characters. All and all, entertaining storyline.

Best in the series

I’ve read/listened to all 5 and this is by far my favorite. I didn’t think book 2 or 3 could be ripped because of the couple but I loved this one more.

Here kitty kitty

I did not expect so much humor in this story. It is still dark and gritty, but the banter between the guys with all the cat puns was so much fun to listen to. Loved this story and series.
