About this listen

After leaving the Big Apple and her bad memories for Tennessee, November starts working for her dad at his strip club doing the books. The one time she’s allowed there during club hours she runs into Asher Mayson. He’s perfect until he opens his mouth and makes assumptions. November wants nothing to do with him - but too bad for her - fate has other plans. Asher Mayson has never had a problem getting a woman - that is, not until November. Now all he can think about is making her his and keeping her safe.

Could use a male narrator

I love this series and November and Asher are my favorite couple. The narrator did a good job considering she was trying for a male southern accent for Asher. Asher is an alpha male almost to the point of obnoxiousness at first but it somehow works for the story. November is running from New York to Tennessee to live with her dad and find a new life away from her horrible mother. The two meet with a big misunderstanding but still feel the BOOM! This book is one of my favorite rereads but the lack of male narrator makes this better read than listened to.

Until November

I rarely buy a book with only one narrator when clearly two different main characters are involved that are of the opposite sex. I apologize if this sounds sexist but you need a sexy male voice like Troy Duran, Sebastian York or Christian Fox(some of my favs🔥)to really do the justice needed for a strong male voice with that said…This book failed in that area because Asher sounded like a very old man and not the strong alpha male needed. Had this book had just that this book could’ve been off the hook hot!!!🥵 As for the storyline it was good, the ending was fast with 15 years in a blink of an eye quick lol, thankfully it ends with a HEA. Is it worth the credit? I’m not sure 🤔 honestly I should’ve passed but for whatever reason I kept listening ugh…You will need to determine if you’re okay with a horrible “old man” male lead voice for the entire book.

Good book, but miss the original narrator for the series.

Love this book, but wish they kept the old narrator. While this narrator isn’t bad by any means.. I just don’t agree with some of her choices of character or the overall feel she went with.
The new narration makes the H seem angry and aggressive a lot of the time. It just feels off..
While I miss the old narration, but this is still a great series. ARR is a very talented author.

Made. My. Year.

This is one of my all-time favorite books. It will be my go-to book to listen to again and again. The narrator was PERFECT! I’m hoping this is the first of many books that she narrates. She reads flawlessly and her voice fits this character amazingly. Perfection!

Loved the story

It bothers me that they didn't resolve her Grandparents death a week after changing their will.

Another great read from this author

I kind of read her series on the Mayson family out of sequence. I loved the stories of all the Mayson kids, so when I finished them I backtracked to the stories of their parents. Until November did not disappoint. It was really good. The only off-putting thing was the female narrator’s male voices kind of made them all sound like dumb hicks. Otherwise it was a wonderful start to the series!

Fun listen

I enjoyed this listen very much, new to me narrator June Bronson did a great job. The story was cute, the brothers are a bit much but it added some fun to the story.
