About this listen

Back in her hometown of Ruby Falls, Aria Heart is determined to find herself and the happiness that has always felt just out of reach. And it would be a lot easier to do that if her parents weren’t so close by, reminding her just why she left town as soon as she could, and if the house she just purchased wasn’t already giving her problems. Just when Aria starts to second-guess her decision, Tide Goodman knocks on her door and shoves his way under her defenses. Is it possible that the happiness she’s been searching for is attached to a man like Tide, the guy she crushed on in high school who didn’t even seem to know she existed? A man with an adorable daughter and baggage of his own? In order to find out, Aria will have to put everything, including her heart, on the line one more time.

Not liking the narrator's!

I did not like the narrator's for this book. they sound very nasal. I have read all of Aurora's book and whomever she used to narrate the Falling Fast and One More Time are the same ones. The story line is good but the narrator's not so much. I am used to the strong alpha vocals she has used in the past. It's just painful to listen when they sound so nasal.

Story was just Ok

Story was just soso. Nothing spectacular. kinda boring. the Narrators, however....Yick. I am bummed I wasted my money on this one. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this author and I will wait for the next book but this one was a miss for me. Sorry Mrs Reynolds.

Let’s start with I loved the story so this review in no way should take away from it. Lacy Laurel different character voices just was not for me at all, her voice was just so nasally. When she read for Aria it was good but everyone else just made me cringe I stopped hearing the book for a few hours just to give myself a break even purchased the book through Kindle to finish reading instead of listening, since I was at work today I chose to finish hearing the book, it was a good story and Gregory Salinas did a great job and Lacy did a good job reading Aria only.
