About this listen

Everyone treats me differently now.

Like I'm this broken doll with glue sealing the cracks. It's okay. I can handle their pitying stares. But not his. Not Nicoli's.

I hate the way he looks at me like I'm this fragile thing he's too afraid to touch. I want him to love me the way he did before this nightmare started. He needs to realize that I'm stronger than he thinks.

I'm not a victim, and I'm more than a survivor. I'm a fighter. And while Nicoli and his brothers hunt the man responsible, I'm plotting my own revenge.

This isn't a Dark Sovereign war. It's mine.

I didn't come out on the other side of this as a weaker woman. I came out a stronger queen. And Nicoli needs to see that. He has to stop blaming himself. I don't.

After all, he did save me in the end... didn't he? Or is the worse still to come?

Unveiled is book six in the Dark Sovereign series, and concludes Nicoli and Mira's story. Nicoli and His Queen need to be listened to before Unveiled.

Nicoli & Mira’s Conclusion

Nicoli & Mira’s love story concludes with plenty of action, drama and more.
The narrators were good but they made Nicoli’s character sound too much like an idiot with an angry attitude towards everyone, and not intelligent. Of course he was uncontrollable after his wife’s abduction and rape which is understandable but it was too excessive. Mira came across as spoiled and immature for someone who grew up in the family. Sex scenes were a little excessive in this book. The story was good but Alexius & Leandra are still my favorite couple.

story is great, performance meh

I love Bella J's story telling ability. Always on point, with flips at every turn. I think I will stick with reading her stories from now on.

But for some reason I always thought that Nicoli and Mira were always angry with each other and yelling at each other, from how the narrators performed. They both have fantastic voices, don't get me wrong Michael has a perfect growl to his voice and Stephanie gutted me in "His Queen" with her performance as Mira at the hands of Nunzio. The two together just didn't come across as lovers. Always angry sounding and pissed off at each other. Also, Stephanie Kay's man voice almost sounds like it hurts. When she is speaking as Nicoli it's not sexy or compassionate.
