Publisher's summary

Behind every member of the Sisterhood, there's a man who knows better than to get in her way. Now the guys are bonding together, in the first in a thrilling new series from New York Times bestselling author Fern Michaels.

Through public triumphs and private sorrows, the men in the Sisters' lives - husbands, friends, colleagues, and lovers - have offered invaluable aid and support. In the process, they've become an informal brotherhood of their own, able to relate to the unique challenges and rewards of life among the vigilantes.

But after years of bit parts, the Sisterhood's significant others are itching to take center stage. Frustrated with the limits of the criminal justice system, Nikki's husband Jack Emery has recruited his friends Ted, Joe, Harry, Bert, Jay, and Abner. They have brand-new headquarters with state-of-the-art equipment, an unlimited bankroll, and a plaque on the door that reads BOLO Consultants. Their first case: toppling ruthless slum landlord Tyler Sandford - also lieutenant governor of Virginia. Sandford may have friends in very high places, but that's no match for BOLO - or the women who've got their backs....

To short

To short - left you hanging. Is this the beginning of the “boys” club? I will have to look for a 2nd book.

Half the story

They’ve divided this book in two and this half ends incomplete with questions not answered in book 2. Worse book she’s made.

I wish I could rate this higher...

I wish I could rate this higher. We truly love the Sisterhood Series and was looking forward to The Men of the Sisterhood series. We were getting into the storyline and poof! The book was over! I'm not sure if I want to pay $ to listen to the next book for it to be over in 3 hours and feel like the story was just getting started.
I'm disappointed, I thought Fern would give us more.

Predictable

I love the characters however, the storyline is becoming too predictable. Unfortunately, I’ve become bored. Don’t think I’ll be coming back to the sisterhood

Lacking

I have read the Sisterhood stories and found this one lacking. To catch my interest, you should have given them the task and let them finish it! People whom are not familiar may not continue the reads. jussayin... I will read the others because I love the characters, especially Jack and Harry!

Left Hanging

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

. Not sure. Was disappointed that the story never developed and stopped abruptly.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The story never developed beyond the women and the men and their distrust of each other.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

I have always loved all the books that Fern Michaels has written. This left me hanging!
