Sweet Contemporary Romance

Sweet Historical Romance

Timeless Romance: Valentine's Day Collection
Aug 17-20, 2022

Book One
A Brush with the Law by Janette Rallison

A truly laugh out loud, incredulous Valentine's Day! The WORST day of her life turns into one of her best days EVER!

Book Two
Every Occasion by Heather B. Moore

What a darling yet emotional story! I wish we were privy to her letter! The boy was perfect and the narrator did a good job on his voice.

Book Three
Hold Your Breath by Jenny Proctor

I think the last line would be a great title! I loved his persistent and her dedication. The pull they had was hard to ignore. Glad to hear the happy every after!

Book Four
The Ultimate Bachelor Challenge by Annette Lyon

This set up was probably the craziest story line I've ever read, but I loved these two connecting in the end like they did.

Book Five
Deal Breakers by Heather Tullis

Another crazy scenario where ex couples reconnect. I thought this story ended abruptly. I wish there was more to it. Maybe an epilog would complete it, in my opinion, of course...but, I lived the story, I just wanted more!

Book Six
Hey, Helen! by Sarah M. Eden

I loved the humor in this story! I loved the girl next door turn from friendship to romance! But, that ending? It was beautiful! I cried! Just beautiful!

6-in-1

I really enjoyed these stories, just wish they were longer. That is why I normally don't read novellas. I thought all the narrators were really good.

Nice collection

This collection has a nice variety of stories.

A BRUSH WITH THE LAW by Janette Rallison was pretty funny in an over the top, rom com kind of way. Made the story quite enjoyable.

EVERY OCCASION by Heather B. Moore. I'm always disappointed when I read a collection only to find that I've already read one of the stories in another book. That was the case with this one. I read it as Let's Begin Again. The story is still a good story though. Second chance romance.

HOLD YOUR BREATH by Jenny Proctor. I liked Nate quite a bit. Seems like kind of a dreamy swim coach. Second chance romance.

THE ULTIMATE BACHELOR CHALLENGE by Annette Lyon. This one was kind of fun and different. More of an insta-love type story. I liked the characters.

DEAL BREAKERS by Heather Tullis is a second chance romance. For most of the story I felt like Colette looked kind of bad but by the end, the story showed how their relationship went off from both sides and not just how she blew it. They were both very nice people though as they took a mom and her kids under their wing to make it easier for them.

HEY, HELEN! by Sarah M. Eden was a rather fun friends to love story. I liked how her career of her writing a column moved the story along into romance and how they worked together to have them both succeed in their endeavors.

No sex, language or violence

Loved it!

This is a great book to read as you prepare for Valentine's day and all that it entails. Whether you love the holiday or not it's fun to read about it and others experiences with it. The 6 stories in this book are all well written and well read. Each is different and I thoroughly enjoyed them all.

Too much to do, So little time

Started out strong (as strong as these type of stories can be) - sweet, cute, as expected. I think the authors did great with the task given. However, those last ones were difficult to finish off to be honest. Maybe it was because I was listening to it (I've listened to others before that were fantastic though so...) because the story lines were so good but just not gripping enough since I kept thinking "how many more to go?!" ... never a good sign in my book ... I really just wanted to write one word with a shrug - meh.
