About this listen

The mystery of where vampires come from deepens as Bernie goes to Easter Island. One particular Moai statue only has one foot, just like the ancient race of mono-pods. Soon the weight to protect those around Bernie stresses his friendships, testing the limits of a lie of omission.

Very Creative Writing

Very creative writing with a good storyline and excellent narration. Much better than the previous book and has a well written ending. Very enjoyable listening experience and would recommend this short story.

A Different Breed of Vampire

Vampire Caving 2
Author: James Livingood
Narrator: Bryan Jones

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this honest review.
I always like to preface any reviews I give with this information.
I am a 68 year old female who has been an avid reader since I was around 10 or 11 years old.
I read primarily for pleasure.
I have a great many interests and do a lot of research for personal pleasure and knowledge as well.

Review: This is a review of the Audiobook version of Vampire Caving 2

This is going to be a little different than my usual reviews.
Rather than giving a synopsis of some main features and then my review, I am going to tell you that before I listened to this 2nd story, I went back and listened to the first one (Vampire Caving), again so that I could get a better sense of continuity in the entire story. It has been my experience that when you get the entire story and it is fresh in your mind; the impact is different than when you don't.

This is a very good story. The author has done some very creative thinking and writing in giving us a completely different creation story of how vampires came into being. This audiobook is less than 1 hour in length and there is a great amount of complex background that we are given in a very concise way.

There are layers of secrets that are revealed in the course of this story and I was very caught up in the way the author chose to reveal them.

I will also tell you that I was sorry this audiobook was not longer.
I hope that Mr Livingood will continue this story line.
I was very impressed with his creation of a different Vampire "Myth."

Narrator Bryan Jones did an excellent continuation of some of the characters from the first audiobook that are also in this 2nd story, and has a very good grasp of accents. It was a real pleasure to listen to him again and I will be looking forward to hearing more of him.

I believe this story would be enjoyed by anyone 12 years and older.

2nd in a series with a different view on vampires

I love the lighthearted and different views that James Livingood is able to bring to the horror genre (Frankenstein IT support is still my all time fav!) the first book saw our protagonist as one of two types Of vamps. He explored the world and searched for the history of vamps. What he found shocked him and Could turn the vamp World on its collective head. Here in the second installment he continues his adventures to the Easter islands and there discovers

Vampires

Got into this story from reading Morning Motivation Series there is a short story that leads into this series. I enjoyed listening to the search of where Vampires came from . James take on Vampires is different from the tired ole Vampire story I enjoyed the listen.
