Always a great one!

This book hits so many major things about Ravenloft! But Jander is simply amazing! The story itself is done so well, with keeping you wondering.

A book about vampires in the tradition of Stoker.

I read this book 25 years ago as a child and loved it then. To my surprise it holds up quite well. Also the vampires don't glitter.

I love it

Jander's a stupid idiot, but he's my stupid idiot and I love him. Highly recommend especially if you find self pitying monologues to be charming :)

The Narrator takes some getting used to

The story is amazing and the characters deep and meaningful. The narrator however is a bit heavy handed with his pronunciation and often sounds awkward. It gets easier to listen to him though and the story is well worth it.
