I have read a lot of Lisa Carlisle books and they are always exciting and entertaining, leaning towards forever mates and the journey to get there. I like these protective men, their attitude towards women and how they deal with their challenges. I have the audible copy too and really like the narration, well done!

A great collection including: Cursed, Smolder and Fire. I loved how each of these had their own unique storylines and characters but still tied together in the underground club VAMP. Narration was wonderfully done - I especially enjoyed the dual narration in Fire.
Cursed - was a great read but left me with more questions than answers - but overall there was a lot of character growth.
Smolder - the heat turns up both in character chemistry and in reality with a fire that is the beginning and the end of so much. Great action and suspense and of course steamy chemistry.
Fire - is a great addition to this series. VAMP is back and some would say better than ever. With a new owner and a new ability and love interest is discovered.

I love the character crossovers - especially in Smolder and Fire and hope there is more to come in this series. Love the well written balance of steam and storyline which. Storylines are unique and captivating as are the characters themselves. Well written and well narrated!

I liked the plot but it really had too many unfinished stories. It sucked me in at first, with the gargoyle brothers then leaves you hanging. No idea what happened to them.

Vamps is an entertaining box set of three paranormal books filled with shifters, witches, vampires, gargoyles and so many more interesting characters. The writing is descriptive and the storylines are unique. If you love anything paranormal with steam, magical twists and great endings then this is definitely for you.

This box set is a nice introduction to the rest of the series. Now I have to see what happens to the gargoyles from story one.

The three stories in this boxed Set were so good. The story lines were easy to follow and the steaminess and sizzle were amazing. I was given this audio set and voluntarily leave a review, however I will go back and purchase more of Lisa Carlisle' books, the were really good. The narrators did a wonderful job, completely made me fall into the story.

This is a fantastic story, it is well written and well told. I enjoyed her writing style. Bridget Bordeaux, Amber Lee Connors & Kieran Flitton are awesome narrators. Highit recommend listening to this audiobook series.

Cursed
The introductory story of how the three gargoyle brothers ended up as semi-permanent stone when one of them rejected a witch’s love. They are only able to move if there is someone in danger and then only for 24 hours. It also explains how they end up as guardians in a nightclub. Short story.
Smolder

Nike and her best friend go out for a Halloween night of dancing at a club that caters to those who don't quite fit in with everyone else. When Nike sees the man she has been crushing on and he actually talks to her, she is in heaven. Unfortunately, the man has enemies, really really old enemies who have been looking for him. An explosion, a fire, a fight between ancient beings - and Nike is caught in the middle.

Fire

Maya returns to the nightclub where she and Nike always went dancing on their nights off from the firehouse. She hasn't seen the club, or her best friend, since the night of the explosion and fire. It is now under new management and when the new owner catches sight of Maya on the dance floor he is astonished that she is surrounded by light. He is so used to only seeing the darkness in people that he knows he must meet this woman. As they grow closer they must share secrets that could mean the end of their relationship or the beginning of something beautiful.

I thought some of the "feelings" in this story were a little too much. The way Tristan went off when Maya admitted she had kissed another man was a little over the top. He had just broken up with her after all.

Vamps: An Underground Encounters Boxset, AUDIOBOOK by Lisa Carlisle was a sassy, steamy, well-written boxset containing three stories.

First is Cursed, this story was an unusual and engrossing story about gargoyles, vampires, and a myriad of otherworldly creatures! There are three Danton, Lucan, and Mattias…they’re cursed to remain stone…but, can that change? Excellent, enjoyable, unexpectedly intriguing story!!!

Next is Smolder, is the story of Michel and Nike. He’s the owner of Vamps and she is a climber. He sets his sights on her…and things spiral!!!

Finally, there is Fire, the story of Tristan and Maya. He’s the sullen new owner of Vamps who is surrounded by darkness. She is the impulsive firefighter who has secret abilities of her own.

The first two stories were narrated by Bridget Bordeaux, who did an fabulous job of performing the story. She captured the characters perfectly!

Fire was narrated by Amber Lee Connors and Kieran Flitton. It can be tough to start with a new narrator in a series, but these two did a great job!!! I especially liked Amber’s interpretation of the characters! Great performances by all!!!
