About this listen

With bleached blonde hair piled on top, and an oversized pocketbook to match every outfit, Aggie’s ready to have some Las Vegas fun. Desperate to escape her two unwanted house guests visiting from England, Aggie accepts a wedding invitation for a couple whom she’d met on a cruise.

Selfishly, she pawns her guests off on her daughter and forgets that the Thanksgiving holiday is just days away.

Join Aggie in a quirky yet comical escapade where the bride allegedly gets cold feet, the groom vanishes into thin air, a hefty ransom is demanded, and the need for insatiable snooping becomes a must.

Can Aggie solve this mystery in time for Thanksgiving dinner?

Aggie, Betty, & Roger are my new guilty pleasure.

I’m digging Aggie, Betty, and Roger. I was a little worried with this one because some of the older reviews were not so good, but Aggie, Betty, and Roger have become my guilty pleasure.

Chances are great that you know someone like Aggie, Betty, and Roger, and that’s what helps to make these books fun. This is not a book that is “solve the hardcore murder mystery”- they call it a quirky comical mystery at the end of the book and I agree with that description.

Aggie, Betty, and Roger are usually brought into some mystery through no fault of their own or because Aggie is butting her nose into something. There is some bickering and banter between the three- either you get it or it’s just not your thing.

There’s a small part of me that says I should be reading/listening to these books in order because I’m missing their adventures/small things, but I had no problem catching on to the current story. The beginning of the book did have a good amount of talk about Aggie’s arch nemesis and it took a little longer than I like for the book to take off but once it did, it was fun. If you are new to Aggie’s world, I would recommend starting with one of the other books first (Dead Ringer has been my favorite so far).

The narrator, Michael Carr, was fantastic! I wish he would narrate all of Aggie’s books.

If you’re looking for a shorter, lighter mystery, I’d recommend taking a chance on this series.

Parental guidance/trigger warnings: gambling, kidnapping, wedding, rivalries, drinking.

Another treat

.Another good Aggie Underhill mystery with good quirky characters as well as very sensible ones. YOu enjoy Roger a whole lot. He needs a story of his own. when they meet annoying characters, they meet them!
. Aggie just to nice to get rid of them. You enjoy the story and all the crazziness that happens along the way so when you get a chance picke up a copy and enjoy.

Get lost in Vegas...

Aggie and her friends, Betty and Roger, take a road trip... mostly to get away from a house guest, who has impinged on Aggie's good nature and overstayed her welcome. So it's Vegas or bust, where Aggie uncovers a kidnapping...
Aggie Underhill Mysteries are always a hoot... She's smart, but she always gets in trouble, 'cause she just can't leave well enough alone... LOL
So if like a fluffy, cozy-mystery, you can grab this quick little audiobook, and get lost in Vegas for a while!

Another adventure

Another entertaining tale about Aggie Underhill and her friends. This time they go to a Vegas wedding for a couple they met on a cruise. The bride disappears before the nuptials can take place. The cops think it is a case of a runaway bride. But Aggie feels differently. She and here friends, Roger and Bettie help her try to find out what happened. This series is a fun, clean and entertaining series. The narrator does a great job with the voices of each character. I definitely will continue this series. I was gifted this book at my request in exchange for an honest review.

Comical & Enjoyable

It is never dull when around Aggie, she maybe fifty, a lot of fun and mayhem when one is with her. With houseguests we all can relate. Enjoyable time always with Aggie, and her comical capers. The narration by Michael Carr was good. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
