About this listen

A Life-Changing Book About the Power of FEARLESS Thinking

You will never achieve any important goal until you first defeat the fears that stand between you and that goal—the fears that say it's too risky, you don't deserve it, or you're not good enough.

In fact, fearful thinking is one of the most destructive thought patterns you can fall into. Whenever you find yourself worrying, procrastinating, or questioning your potential—FEAR is getting the best of you.

In this inspirational fable, Mickey McGavin is a pro boxer struggling to overcome the fears that are holding him back—in the ring and in life. With the help of a former world champion who becomes his trainer and mentor, McGavin learns he must defeat the fears in his mind before he can defeat his opponents in the ring.

Boxing is the metaphor for life in this story, but the techniques used for defeating fear are universal.

No matter your goal, FEAR is your ultimate opponent, and this book will show you how to defeat the fears that hold you back from living the life you were born to live.

Listen to this life-changing book and discover why victory—in sports, in business, and in life—always favors the fearless.

The storyline was interesting and detailed enough to teach critical lessons about a sport I knew nothing about, yet captured my attention until the very end!

The clarity of the lessons to be learned.

While the writer wrapped the core value of sfaitg versus fear, with a somewhat tired cliché of Rocky Balboa! That said he did a great job in going over the half a dozen or however many of the fears that we all have it hold us back. It could’ve been written possibly using a different analogy , but it was a very interesting way to tell a great story one that was likely pier to the writers heart. I highly recommend the read.

Many years ago, and at times still today, I let fear win to many battles. This should be required reading for high schoolers.

Solid Story of Perseverance

I guess the "sports for the soul" should have been my clue, but none of the reviews mentioned religion and the book wasn't tagged as "christian." Since the description also fails to mention that religion is a key component of the book, I figured I'd add my review to make sure that other people wouldn't make the same mistake I did if they were actually looking for sports psychology.

Heavily Religious
