About this listen

Aubrey

I'm so excited for my wedding that I can't stop humming "Here Comes the Bride". Hey, you'd be happy too if you were marrying Brent Oliver, hockey's most eligible bachelor. Only problem is the universe seems to be conspiring against us, trying to thwart our big day. How else would you explain a missing bridal gown, an unexpected injury, and a slew of other mishaps?

Will this wedding ever even happen?

Brent

You bet your ass this wedding is going to happen! Nothing will keep me from marrying Aubrey Shelburne, the woman of my dreams. Not even strippers, my unruly nephews, or a broken ankle can stop me. I'm taking my girl to the altar, damn it. And afterward, I plan to show her a whole new meaning to that song she keeps humming.

Let's just say the bride will definitely be coming!

Vows on Ice is a hilarious stand-alone short novel in the best-selling Boys of Winter hockey romance series, featuring all of the couples and an Area 51 appearance!

Vows On Ice

If you don't own an area 51 you may start looking for one. (But I hear they don't really exist). This book is full of adult humor that I so enjoyed. So WARNING if listening in public you may find yourself busting out laughing. Although these are standalone books I love that our favorite bad boys from past books were brought in to the story. Aubrey is a fun character that is wide open. And Brent is her perfect match adding just the right amount sane to her crazy. Brent's aunt is another fun/funny character with her attraction to Benny. Reagan West nailed the performance on this and really brought the book to life.

Super Cute Rom-Com

Super cute semi-sports romance. Many shenanigans going on in this romantic comedy. I chuckled and grinned throughout. Enjoyable easy afternoon listening from a great crew of characters. Get ready for the featured Area 51!

Narrator gave a great performance that was pleasant to listen to and fit this story perfectly.

Uproarious, Swoon, & Sweet Pastry moments!

Vows On Ice Boys Of Winter, Book 6 caught my eye with its pretty cover, then the slapstick synopsis caught my mind.
The writing style depicts the genre romantic comedy perfectly. With a fleckless narrative to end this witty love story. Told in multi-pov with a hea which is my favourite. Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, donuts, hockey players, jocular moments, strippers entangled together to create a luscious & sensuous frolic romance. I loved getting an Area 51 appearance & seeing other characters from previous books. ( I haven't listened to them all yet but it was still great). With a aces epilogue to wrap up their sweet love story.
Narrator Reagan West performance was impeccable. Each character was given their own voice. Pace & tone flow through smoothly. I loved her performance.
I love this audio as its apple pie.

I loved this book

well narrated and great to listen too.

This was a fun, quick read which was a re visit with some of my favourite characters in one of my favourite hockey series.

We come together to watch the trials, tribulations and hilarious happenings as Brent Oliver and Aubrey Shelburne get married. Along for the ride are their family and friends who make up this cast of crazy but loveable characters.

The banter between Brent and Aubrey had me laughing so much at times I almost cried, not to mention the continuous references to Area 51 and a green glowing vibrator had me in stitches. Throw in the other couples that make an appearance and you just know you are in for a fantastic and hilarious story.

The camaraderie between Brent and his fellow players was great and the “sisterhood” between the player's ladies was heart warming.

Vows on Ice was like attending a good friends wedding and made me feel as though I was a part of it. It is extremely well written and S.R. Grey weaves a story that will keep you absolutely invested from the first to the last page.

Loved it!!!!!

Great book to listen to

This was such a fun book to listen to and the narration was perfect.
I love this series and I was so excited to be back with Brent , Aubrey and the gang and let me tell you this book did not disappoint it was everything I expected and more.
From the bachelor and bachelorette parties this book with have you laughing and giggling all the way to the altar for Brent and Aubrey’s wedding. The dress goes missing, the groom twists his ankle and of course Area 51 needs to make a few appearances at the most inopportune moments normally in front of a conservative relative or a child .......
I love the camaraderie betrween Brent and his team mates and then of course we have the special friendships Aubrey shares with the players ladies, all in all I loved being back with the gang that I like to think of as friends and this story really had me feeling like I was part of Wedding of the year. Once again S.R. Grey has shown how very talented she is and why she is up there amongst the queens of romantic comedy. If you love books that make you laugh and that leave you feeling part of friendships formed in the stories then the Boys of Winter will be a must read.
Loved this fast paced quick funny read. (less)

Sexy and Hilarious!

Vows on Ice by S.R. Grey so impressed me with how the story flowed and kept me both captivated and laughing out loud. I loved how the wedding brought so many couples together to celebrate and reminisce over previous escapades. The bachelorette party vs the bachelor party was so much fun, and what came of those events. The contest was the best! Area 51 aka Brett 51 is along for the journey. Benny and his donuts add vivid imagery to the book as well. Having grown up in Minnesota I could envision so much of the lake life, the small towns, and thought that Reagan West captured the accent perfectly in her depiction of several characters. She was amazing bringing all of the characters to life. This book is a standalone listen, and I think one of my favorites. I loved how the author wrote in such wonderful nuggets into the story.

Perfect series ending!

Vows on Ice could not have been written better if SR Grey tried. The wedding of Brent and Aubrey is finally upon us, and we are ready! Or are we? This wonderfully written story brings all of our favorite players together as they celebrate their friend's wedding. From strippers to donuts, I found myself laughing out loud, and enjoying getting ready for the big event. This group of players is such a great ensemble cast, it's like getting together with old friends. There were a few setbacks, a crazy aunt and a contest to end all contests! And we can't forget the most important present, Area 51! Showing up in each book, it never ceases to make me smile! Laugh, cry and love, this ending is the best!

Reagan West brings them all together with an incredible narration. Each character has their own distinctive voice and her comedic timing is spot on. She gives the story all the feels of the build up of the wedding day adding emotions and excitement to her performance.
