Publisher's summary

A promise written on a coaster. A lost night in a dark room.

Grayson Cole was my brother’s best friend.

He was all of my firsts.

Then he went away…

Drew Harris was just a kid, a senior in high school, my best friend’s little sister.

They said she was too young to know her feelings.

I was too old to have them, so I left to join the military.

Four years passed.

Loss, injury, angry words I can never take back.

I’m home, but I’m not the same.

Neither is she.

Now she’s a woman with flashing blue eyes, long blonde hair, and gorgeous curves.

She’s the same sweet smile, the same sassy mouth…

I could never say No to her before.

I should say No for her sake.

She deserves better than what I’ve become, scarred and damaged.

“They told me to stay away from you. I went away to try… God, I tried. Now everything has changed. I’m back, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make you mine…”

An RWA-Passionate Ink "Sexy Scribbles" Finalist.

(A full-length, contemporary romance about first love, redemption, and finding your way home. No cheating; No cliffhangers. Small-town, brother’s best friend, military, forbidden love, second-chance romance.)

Loved this poignant and consuming romance!

This poignant and consuming tale of forbidden/second chance romance will hold you captive from beginning to end. Grayson Cole was Drew Harris' brother’s best friend. He was her all of her firsts, and she would wait for him when he joined the military with her brother. Now years later, they are both changed. Drew is a therapist and taking care of her sick father, and Gray has trauma and guilt, and doesn't believe he is deserving of her. He tries to stay away, but soon is unable to deny the the magnetic pull between them. As they become close again, the love they once shared grows even stronger, and their chemistry is even more combustible! But Grayson is fighting his guilt and is afraid to share it with Drew, for fear he will lose her for good. I love Gray and Drew together, and cheered hard for their HEA! Their emotional and heartfelt story of love and loss, loyalty and deception, happiness and heartache is breathtaking. Truths are revealed, and the struggles to heal and grow stronger are hard fought.
I loved the narration by Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh! Greenfield's voice is perfect for Grayson with the right balance of commanding yet gentle, and a protective quality that shines in his portrayal. Leigh does a great job creating the brave and caring qualities needed for Drew. I love this team, they gel so well together, as they bring these characters and story to life beautifully.

Lovely second chance

He first saved her when she was four. Her brother's best friend. Then they fall in love as teenagers in secret. She's town royalty and he is an orphan who lives with his uncle, the town mechanic. He only has eyes for her, but her father and her brother want them apart.
Grayson Cole has loved Drew all her life. All through college and his time in the military, she was his north. Even though he and Danny are in the same squad, he managed to keep his relationship with her a secret. Until right before a routine mission, Danny finds out and the unimaginable happens.
Now, 2 years later, Grayson has to go back home. Home, where Drew is, but the ghosts of the past are keeping them from her. Will this love have the second chance it deserves?
This second chance, small town, rich girl/poor boy, brother's best friend romance had me rooting for them from the moment 8-year-old Gray saved 4-year-old Drew Baby from a snake. What a sweet but sometimes sad romance.
Narrated dual style by an Audies winning pairing: Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh. Kirsten's voice is perfect for Drew . She goes from young girl/teenager to a highly educated psychotherapist who is going through so many things in her life (and most of all bad). Lance has the perfect timber for the tortured Grayson, who loves Drew more than anything but that is terrified that people might be right and he really doesn't deserve her in his life.
A treat for fans of military romance, second chances, small town vibes and shenanigans, "it's always been you" (for both) and a warm HEA.
I can't wait to dive into Ruby's story!

I loved it!

This is the first book in the Believe in love Series. Wow! I loved it! This is a beautiful brother's best friend, and second chance romance. Grayson and Drew's forbidden story is beautifully written, emotional, and engaging, filled with drama, angst, and twists and turns. The supporting characters are great. Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to more in the series.

Make You Mine

Grayson and Drew was a beautiful story about young love that went wrong and all the heartbreak it took to find their love again. I loved this book and my heart broke for both Grayson and Drew as they maneuvered from children to adults and the trauma they both dealt with. Drew is a remarkable woman dealing with all the heartache she has had to deal with from childhood to the present but she survives. Grayson has his own tragedies and while he thinks he isn't worthy of Drew's love he finds he really is and his broken heart and soul are mended by her love.

Lance Greenfield and Kristen Leigh were wonderful in this terrific book. Loved listening to both of them.

Loved this book and highly recommend it.

😍❤️

This was one of the most emotional second chance romances I’ve read in possibly ever. Gray won my heart from the beginning, always being a hero & protector to Drew since she was 8 years old. Drew is this amazing woman with an amazing heart. Different backgrounds, connected through her brother, in a small town that’s set in its ways. But they have some fierce love going on. There were definite hard times (not gonna lie, this book brought me to tears more than once) and heart break, and healing and love. Overall, Tia Louise wrote a heart breaking, heart warming, full on love fest of a book that will draw you in from her first words. And listening to it puts it in a whole new world & draws you in in a completely different way
