About this listen

A robed figure sat before a crystal, watching its many facets.

The crystal was roughly two spans in diameter; the figure leaned forward and stared into the brilliant light emanating from the stone.

Each facet bore a different image, creating an indistinct chiaroscuro of moving subjects.

Gnarled hands emerged from long, flowing sleeves and grasped the crystal ball. Fingers coiled around the smooth surface of the metal and turned it slightly clockwise.

This is a fantasy listen about six friends who love playing RPG games in high school. After leaving high school, they all go their separate ways. Three years later, they return and start playing again - only to end up being pulled into another world.

Enjoy the book very much it had a better storyline and plot than a lot of dungeons and dragons books this story actually made me feel like part of it and the author not holding back with language sometimes unnecessary but made it more believable

Intriguing
