About this listen

In Polecat, Alaska, Rachel Miller and Jake Hunter have a mutual admiration for each other - from across a lake. There's nothing Rachel likes more than spying on the very fit wilderness guide when he skinny-dips each night. And Jake has always been curious about his reclusive artist neighbor. He even bought Rachel's first wood carving: a wolf who looks suspiciously like him.

Jake is a werewolf, but not just any werewolf. He's the founder of WARM (Werewolves Against Random Mating). And that means a human like Rachel is off-limits, no matter how attractive he finds her.

But when Rachel is threatened by a bear, and Jake shifts to save her, their lives collide with an intense passion, one that could change everything they've ever felt about themselves - and each other.

It is a good story honestly but I will not lie several times I came so close to giving up. it's slow pace and when it picks up it does get interesting. The problem is its anticlimactic. The ending or twist you kinda see coming and the rescue was cheesy. shoot the villains was cheesy lol This is a story where I felt like it could have been soooooo much more in many ways. The sexy scenes was good I'll give you that and the Narration was really good I connected. The ending was just ...... less idk how to describe it.

This has wonderful characters that are witty and full of sass. If you enjoy stories that bring you laughter and sadness all at the same time, you'll love this series as much can't as I do. Must hear or read book as well as the series!

You're gonna love this story.

I do love this series. It was fun and entertaining. It does contain it's fair amount of steamy scenes though, so be forewarned if that's not your cup of tea.

A very entertaining series.

I'm really enjoying this series so far.Very fun and sexy books. The narrator "Abby Craden" does an awesome job at giving each character individuality, their own personality.I enjoyed the series so much so far,I'm now reading, A Werewolf in LasVegas.

I love the slow burn romance between Rachel and Jake. The book may be a little slow but that is ok because when the chemistry heats up they set Alaska on fire. Abby Craden did a good job bringing this story to life. This is my honest unbiased review.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I like the series but I personally think its getting to be boring. This one was a better book than last story by author.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Maybe go in different story line. The stories are starting to sound the same.

Did Abby Craden do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

I had no problems with narrator.

Do you think Werewolf in Alaska needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No

Any additional comments?

Writer needs new story line this one is getting old

It was ok!

What do you think your next listen will be?

Anything but something else from this author.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Hmmm, what feelings did this book spark in me, lets see anger that I wasted my money. Disappointment that I pushed myself to make it through the first part of this book.

Any additional comments?

This book is so drawn out and long stretches of crap at times I zoned out during the character Rachel's stupid internal and external monologues. I so want my money back!

Snore
