draws you in

it's definitely a wonderful story and different than most others. i liked that they found a way to mix the paranormal with real life.

Interesting supernatural romance with some action!

At time the narrators voice was a little too lulling and lacked inflection, but overall not annoying.
The story line was pretty interesting and I enjoyed the twists. It was a great deal for a whole series!

Great listen!

I found this one and decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised. I did enjoy the first couple of books but the last book was not my favorite, just seemed to drag and was quite boring. I wish the author put a little more thought into the MMC. I hated how he was always soo secretive and there wasn’t much depth to him. A little more character development would have made this book sooo much better.

not for me

I don't like giving negative reviews, so all I will say is that the storyline had such great potential but it fell short. And the FMC... gah... just sucked the life from a few brain cells. Just sample first. the narration grates the nerves too.

This could be used as a VERY effective drinking game (Boobs/breasts/nipples = Drink!)

I saw another reviewer mention this but thought, "it can't possibly be that bad!" Only, I was wrong...

If you put this book on in the background of a party, and everyone had to take a drink every time she says the words "boobs, breasts or nipples", you would have a VERY drunk group of people pretty quickly. I am a grownass woman and NEVER in my life have I ever thought about my boobs anywhere near as often as the FMC supposedly thinks about or references hers.

It's due to this odd immaturity that I am struggling to keep listening (hence, why I came to write this, even though I'm not done yet). To give you a better idea of how many times she is referencing this particular body part, I am only on chapter 9 of the first book.

This really makes me unsure how much more of my time I want to invest into this. Because even though I actually really like the concept of the story, I am finding it harder and harder to stay invested in the story when I feel like a part of my brain is practically dedicated to rolling its eyes as far back in my head as they can go every time we have to hear about this girls "lady lumps". Sorry, I'm afraid for my poor rolling eyes every time they see or hear either of those words - I fear another good roll and they'll get stuck there! Better not to chance it!

Okay time waster

So-so story. Two things lessened my enjoyment. One were the crude sex scenes where a virginal young woman is spouting pretty earthy requests. Don’t get me wrong, sex in a book is fine but I thought her responses out of character. The other thing is she sometimes seemed just to stupid to live. Fortunately she didn’t always do stupid things but often enough to be annoying.

DARIA WAS WAY TO SHELTERED BUT OTHERWISE A GOOD LISTEN. LOVED LOGAN AND HIS CREW, CRYSTAL WAS THE RIGHT KIND OF WRONG UNTIL SHE WASN'T.

has great potential

this storyline is good it's just written so boring and drab. very hard to get interested in especially with the electronic type reading. I will listen because I used a credit on this story but have learned my lesson on getting books before sampling.

Just terrible

There was potential here. I spent so much time rolling my eyes I got a headache. The narrator's robotic droning was torture. The main female character was an absolute idiot. I couldn't finish. One cheesy clichéd trope after another.
