Music journalist Tru Bennett has done the impossible: capture the heart of rock star bad boy Jake Wethers. Now they're busy planning a wedding and navigating their new life together in the U.S. Of course Tru misses London and her best friend, Simone, but living happily ever after with Jake in L.A. is going to be great... right? Wrong.
Even the bright California sun can't whitewash the dark side of celebrity coupledom. Greedy music execs, merciless paparazzi, and Jake's wild past are lurking around every corner. Making matters worse, Jake announces he doesn't want kids, which just may be a deal breaker. Tru loves Jake more than anything. But when a devastating crisis threatens to destroy everything they've fought for, the couple must face the hard truth: What if, this time, love is not enough?

What made the experience of listening to Wethering the Storm the most enjoyable?
I read the reviews and was thinking ‘ok is this going to be good?’ It was a much gentler story but tore at the heart. It was precious and sweet. Jake of course messed up big time a couple of times, but you really got to see how sweet he was and how he didn’t show the public. I loved the part about the tattoos Tom and Jake got, and I got really angry at him about his reaction when he found out Tru was pregnant. But Mrs. Towle really went into detail of Tru’s reaction to being pregnant. I wanted to strangle Tru at times through her difficulty when she realized and discovered she was pregnant. I wanted to lough out loud over the thought of Jake saying penis to the gorgeous female doctor. It was a riot and just the thought of that scene made me really curious to see a guy well-endowed like the description’s nickname snake. The story closed some areas such as with Simone and Denny, Stewart and hot doctor Josh, Smith and Johnny, and opened the door for Tom’s story.Which scene was your favorite?
The scene where the boys got tattoed OMGDid you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed and got a little teary eyed .Great Continuation

Any additional comments?
A great happy ending for Tru and Jack. I am surprise how immature Tru acted in the book. I found her unlikable and annoying at times. Her lack of trust and insecurity of Jack was distracting b/c I found myself getting very angry and annoy. Jack was great. He was the mature, loving, and responsible one in this book. I love the supporting characters and the band members were awesome. If you read The Mighty Storm, this sequel is a must read.Good sequel, happy ending for Tru and Jack.
