Should be required reading!

This is an actionable and simplified summary of the economics and pitfalls of paying for healthcare. insurance is a complex topic even for those of us in the industry- but it does not have to be. Dr. Virgie goes through the step-by-step process of understanding insurance, patient rights, and how to go about investigating and addressing a medical bill one thinks is incorrect--it may be worth applying these principles routinely as billing mistakes are common. This book would be great.in high school and college life skills classes, and as part of any health professional training curriculum.
