About this listen

I keep all her secrets. She thinks she can trust me…

Cecilia has it all. The house on the beach. The cute figure. The beautiful baby. But she’s a long way from perfect.

She’s let me into her gorgeous house as her nanny because now she’s on her own, she needs a little help with her baby daughter Peyton. She barely notices me. But I see everything.

While Peyton naps, I rifle through her drawers and discover the dark secrets in her past, the threatening letter from her ex-husband.

It's a shame that Cecilia doesn’t have my powers of observation. If she took some time, she might just recognise me. I’ve been following her for a while, after all.

If she knew who I was then I don’t think I’d be so invisible. And she wouldn’t be so surprised one morning when little Peyton’s cot is found empty…

Fans of Shari Lapena and Freida McFadden will be hooked by What the Nanny Saw.

I enjoyed this for the most part. Decent writing and pacing. The ending had an opportunity for a twist but ended with a thud.

Overall ok, disappointing ending

if not for the narration. The narrator for Lizzie is so irrational i had to keep fast forwarding through her parts. like someone reading a children's book.

could have been good

This book was good. It has characters that we love to hate, so to speak. Great plot. It’s entertaining, although somewhat unbelievable at times. Overall, I’ve enjoyed this series.

Good book

Really great book! I didn't realize it was part of a series, but it reads just fine as a stand-alone.

With a cheating boyfriend, imprisoned husband, and raising Peyton on her own, Cecilia has her hands full. She loves her baby girl immensely, but having ongoing issues with her back from being thrown off a building, she needs help. So, trusting Lizzie to help care for her was a big deal. However, Lizzie has problems of her own that will eventually reveal itself.

No one can be trusted.

Kept waiting for something good/plot line to get better. Finished it but wouldn’t recommend.

Predictable poorly written and childish not worthy of a purchase would really like to return it

Nothing but repetition

The one narrator puts an emphasis on T’s and with Peyton or payTon as the baby, it’s too much. And it’s so over the top dramatic. I should have read it and not listen to it. People aren’t that dramatic all the time when they’re talking. This was really bad.

The narration ruined it for me.

The voice on this book was awful. The story might have been good, but I gave up because of the audio.
