Publisher's summary

Have you ever heard a news reporter say "the Dow rose 300 points today" and had no clue what they meant? If the answer is yes, you're not alone! Most people are taught nothing about investing or the stock market while they are in school. In Why Does The Stock Market Go Up?, Brian Feroldi demystifies the stock market by explaining what it is and how it works using easy-to-understand terms and simple examples. This book was designed to arm ordinary people with the knowledge that they need to build extraordinary wealth.

Why Does The Stock Market Go Up? is an easy-to-digest book for everyone. Feroldi breaks down the basic investing concepts so that anyone can understand and take action. The financial services industry has spent decades telling average Joes and Janes that they can't possibly understand the stock market. Every Reader Will Benefit From This Book, Especially Individuals New To Investing!

In this book author Brian Feroldi shares his life experiences from failures to successes in investing. He outlines all the different principles of investing and why it is never too late to start. This book should be a mandatory read early in a student’s life. I highly encourage all to read this book or listen to it on audible like I did. The narration performed makes it a quick and easy listen.

Buy the actual book not worth the listen because of the numbers.

Don’t recommend for audible. I’m sure much better in book form. Very short decent overview for the beginner.

All the basics in one short book

Everyone should invest, wisely. The only downside for the audible version is hearing numbers in a way that makes it a bit exhausting (year 1 he would have x, year 2 he would have y and it goes on until year 10) but on the other hand many will not read because they don’t have the time so listening is much better than nothing. An important gift for life to any young person you know
