Publisher's summary

No man can win her heart - until now....

In the Gladium Province, the boundaries between humans and Morgons, the dragon-hybrid race, continue to blur as a new generation surrenders to long-forbidden temptation....

Sorcha Linden does whatever she wants whenever she wants, and no one can stop her. Least of all a man. After all, they're good for only one thing - warming her bed. But then she meets Lorian Nightwing, brother of Lucius. Seductive and iron-willed, he is determined to melt her emotional defenses - and warm her rebellious heart.

The beast within Lorian longs to cage Sorcha and mark her as his own. Forever. Yet the man within also longs to protect her. When a stalker starts leaving Sorcha suggestive gifts with cryptic messages bearing an ancient blood-cult symbol, Lorian's dragon side takes over. With her life at stake, Sorcha can no longer deny the love they share.

But when evil tracks her into the night, will she be too late to claim it?

Contains mature themes.

Ball buster won me over

“What? Um. What?”
Good thing I bought all three of these at once or I’d never have moved on from book 1.
This brought back the fun and the frisky that I loved in the author’s Stay a Spell series.

“I don’t get unsettled, dammmit!”
At first I found ‘love em and leave ‘em’ Sorcha to be bratty and abrasive, but the fight-flirting she had with Lorian was so good that I got sucked in, Even the narrator’s robo-narration faded as the delicious banter took over.

There were still needless F bombs (33 for a book this short), and there’s a comic book level climactic scene that had a needless finger violation, but I didn’t find this too triggering.

Love these two!

Love this! The back and forth between these two is epic! Sorcha is so saucy! She is smart and knows what she wants/needs. Loren is darker, a bit dangerous and also has the predator inside. Together they are fire! We also meet Ella and Paxon in here getting us ready for the next book. I have read this one numerous times but this is the first time listening to it. Stephanie Rose does a good job on the narration. Now on to Nightbloom

Super Sexy Fantasy!

I love this series! This book had a great storyline, nice world building, dominant male, and saucy and sassy female. Loved it. If you don't like superior and dominant leading men, then it might not be for you, but the female lead can take care of herself too, so don't think she is a sub.
I can see that it could be a trigger, just like any Romance book can, so be warned.
However, for me, it was Great. To each his own.

Holy Consent Issues

This book is AWFUL. If you’re an SA survivor, I highly recommend skipping over this. This book is riddled with not-at-all sexy consent violations and it’s appalling. This author clearly doesn’t understand a damn thing about consent. I can’t believe this was approved for publishing.
