About this listen

Zara Riddle is trying to find work-life-magic balance, but there's one big secret this witch needs to crack.

Chet Moore, the moody shifter who lives next door, has been running hot and cold like a broken faucet ever since they met. Zara finally resorts to magic to get the truth out of him. It turns out her instincts were right. Chet has been hiding something, and it's a doozy.

Now Chet wants Zara's help with an intensely personal mission. He wants her to track down a lost soul and solve a cold case - a strange and violent case that powerful entities would rather keep buried. Diving in will put them both in danger.

Zara tries to be a good witch. Zara should push aside her feelings and help the lost soul, but... it's so hard to do the right thing sometimes. Zara might be one crafty witch, but she's still a woman. Why should she stick her neck out to help people who lie to her?

On the plus side, Zara's got a new friend helping her. On the minus side, the friend is a gorgon.

When the shocking truth is finally unveiled, not everyone is going to get out alive. With this mission, the only thing worse than failing is succeeding.

Wisteria Wonders is the action-packed, twist-filled third book in the hit cozy mysteries series Wisteria Witches Mysteries by Angela Pepper.

Each book just keeps getting better

I absolutely am falling in love with the series, so much so that I'm binge reading. The books are light hearted with some more serious aspects but overall fun to read.

Swim with the Fishes

Welcome to Wisteria, a town with a bakery on every corner and something in the air which combats calories. (Wish I lived there!) I had just finished book two and felt compelled to jump into listening to book three. This is a good thing, since it is virtually a continuation. And although you could probably enjoy this tale on its own, you really want to know about the flamingo first. In a place infused with magic we are gradually meeting an increasing variety of supernatural creatures (Gorgons, mermaids, various shifters, witches, and more!), and now learn how Zara was drawn to move here. Author Angela Pepper has infused her heroine with a free and easy spirit full of warmth and humor, surrounding her with loving family (and questionable relations), and involved her in rather . . . inventive activities. Narrator Tiffany Williams' rich voice provides a full range of subtleties for the large cast. No more time to review--I'm on to book four!

Witches, gorgons, shape shifters, and mysteries!

Wisteria Wonders
Wisteria Witches Mysteries, Book 3
By: Angela Pepper
Narrated by: Tiffany Williams
This is an Audible book I requested and the review is voluntary. I adore these books! They have everything I need in a fantasy! Lots of creatures living together in a town like it's normal. Great mysteries with great clues but it still leaves me baffled. Fun characters with very interesting quirks and a wonderful plot! I love the humor too! Fantasy, touch of romance, quirky characters, humor, crazy creatures, and a great story all read by a terrific narrator! What else could you want?

Now, this one was different!

First of all, you know a narrator is outstanding when she can make even flamingo-talk sound understandable :P

Zara will find why her relationship with Chet is so weird, and yes, of course he was hiding something! Nevertheless, he asks for her help; Zara is the only person who can help him, and she really, really wants to be a good witch, so she agrees. But this time the mystery is really dangerous, there are gorgons around, and they are friendly... mostly.

But we learn that there were so many deceptions! coming to Wisteria wasn't really Zara's decision, Zoey is named in a prophecy, and... no, better you find all of this by yourself!

Oh, and Detective Bentley is flirting with Zara, and maybe something will come from it... I'd like that :P

As always, this was funny and very, very entertaining, The characters keep growing, and you simply have to love them.

A lovely, lovely audiobook, fantastically narrated by Tiffany Williams. Don't miss it!

I love Zara and Zoey!

I really enjoy the series!
Sarah and Zoey are amazing characters. Very well thought out and you can't help but fall in love with them. I really enjoyed that this book Took off exactly from where the second book left off. And we get to find out more about Frank, and why her neighbor is just so weird with her sometimes.
Zara has a way of cracking me up, she is very witty, and poor Zoey is still has no Powers. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series.
Tiffany Williams is an amazing narrator and I couldn't see this series done by anybody else.

I voluntary asked to review this book, and left at this review without being asked to.

A witch, a shape shifter, a gorgon, oh my!

Zara is a witch and she had a whole cast of mystical characters around her to spice things up. This includes her neighbor who is a shake shifter. When he enlists Zara’s help to solve an old cold case murder things get tricky.. The two take on the case, with the help of a fellow mystical creature (a gorgon), which leads to lots of trouble along the way! If you enjoy the fantasy genre and mystery then you will love this series!

Spirit Charmed vs Soul Catcher

Zara likes to play pranks with her co-worker, Frank. She pulls one with very surprising results. She ends up needing help to correct the magic and learns that her neighbor is actually engaged. When Zara finds her daughter's name in a translation of a very old text, she learns that forces brought her to Wisteria that she didn't know about and for a very specific reason.

I enjoyed this book, as I have the other in the two series that I have listened to. It was interesting to hear about Zara's side of the story happening "real time" while knowing what was happening with Zennia at the same time since I already listened to her latest book and it was mentioned in that book, just not in detail. The two series run parallel to each other with their lives intersecting but have very different story lines. Zara is still learning about being a witch while Zennia has been a witch for years and is tutoring Zara to help her develop her powers.

I received this book from the author to review and this is my true and honest review. I really enjoy the books.

Wisteria Wonders

This series keeps getting better and better. I love that the stories are getting more developed and that she still has lots of imagination in creating such a fun world. Although I missed aunt Z being more a part of the story. The mystery of Zara coming to town starts to be solved in this one. And Zara finds out why she was so attracted to Chet from the moment they met! Tiffany Williams nailed the narration.
