A New Take On An Old Tale

Would you listen to Witch Hunt again? Why?

As good as this book is there a few things that will keep me from re-listening.First off this is a somber book. While there are some happy moments most of the book deals with coming tragedy of (as the title suggests) a witch hunt. I might have like this book better if I knew there was going to be a follow up but as it has been years since the book was published it I just could not help but feel that I was going though it all for nothing.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Lukewarm.... like the rest of the book the ending is somber.

What about Rebecca Cook’s performance did you like?

She really manages to capture the emotional tone of the book

Any additional comments?

This is a well written book on how hate only breeds more hate.

If you can enjoy a good tragedy I say this is a good choice

story has been edited

I owen the book. and my copy is published i. 1990. this is my all time favorite book, so when i saw it on audile I jump to dowload it, but the audile verison is edited and made more PJ13 then the actual book itself. Very upsetting 😞
