Meeting him reveals not only bone-rattling secrets but also the truth beneath my discontentment. I never wanted to mate with the princes of The Isle, but I do want to get closer to the ever aloof, ever charming, crown prince of The North. Complex Shifter Story with Amazing Female Lead!!
The story starts off a little slow and it took me a little bit to get into it. I loved the world the author created and once the story started rolling, it felt like I was there experiencing the joys and the hardships of all the characters.
Mirella is a wonderful and complex character. The story is primarily told from her point of view with a couple of chapters told from a different character. Her life has been difficult, but she's only come out stronger. Her relationship with the princes is complex and I never knew what was going to happen in their scenes together. Brulio was an interesting character and I liked him from the start. He was always kind and a little conniving.
I loved that ending!! I did not see it coming (like I knew there was a twist because of other reviews, but I couldn't tell what it would be and was left guessing)! I would love if the author made a sequel in this world! I'd read/listen to it in a heartbeat.
There is steam in the story, but there is more plot, so if you are looking for a book with more steam than plot, try a different book.
The narrator does a fantastic job of bringing the characters and story to life! I did have to warm up to her voice since it seemed a little almost breathy for my taste, but I got used to it and would definitely listen to another book read by her again. I always love when female narrators do male voices and she does a fantastic job when them!!

WTF...
I really would like to know the author's thought process here. Why do I feel so mislead? Or rather, betrayed? Beautiful cover, but the ending is so not what I would have wanted in a reverse harem. Serioiusly, WTF. How could she have a happy ending when she took away someone else's entire world? Really, she should have started with the monster who broke her instead. How will she ever look at that person in the eye again knowing what she did. Talk about awkward... Unless I am mistaken and that person never really loved any of them, even their own flesh and blood. #StoryOrigin

Epic story
if you're searching for a story with secrets (oh so many), intrigue (woven throughout), strong characters (including a kick ass FMC) and wonderful world building, then this is a book for you. I loved every minute and listened straight through. Great narration brings the story to life. Highly recommend!

Hooked from the start.
This was told to me it was a standalone but i wish there was more. The plot twist left me witha wth feeling. I had to listen again to see if i missed clues. arrange marriage alpha a holes and war. ,check tw this 18+

That was interesting
My review matches all the others.
I don’t know how to feel about the story. I feel like it may have needed more background to make the storyline stick more?
I don’t really fully understand the relationship between fmc and her mates. I feel like the storyline was too quick with not enough information and background.
A little shocked with the ending.
Narration was good. I listened via audio that was gifted for review.
I am a big fan of this author usually but May sick to her series rather than attempt another stand alone of hers.

ending
so the fmc has dealt with emotional abuse her whole life being told omegas are only good for one thing. When she is in an arranged marriage to the three princes of the isles she ends up coming into her own when she meets the prince of the north.

A crazy turn of events
Wow what an ending. I did not see that happening at all though it seems strangely fitting. This story was really good and I highly recommend it.
As for the narration I loved it! Abbey Turner did a wonderful job playing each of the parts. I very much enjoyed listening to her.
Overall a great story and a great performance.

Twist on omegas
In this book you didn't know who to trust. The three she was married to? Their three fathers? Their mother or her brother? Even the fmc was broken because past trauma. Two thing you could trust was her dad was NOT a good man and she was NOT a normal meek omega.

More of a 3.5
So this story is pretty intriguing right from the start, the characters and story line are interesting and the narration is done really well. My problem comes in with the end. I do wish we had some more POVs throughout the book and that we had a little more of the backstory. I feel like it wasn't really finished and there was a lot left unresolved or unexplored. It's a bit abrupt in the ending without much of an explanation which left me dissatisfied. That doesn't mean it's bad just my own personal opinion, it is overall a good listen and the narrator really does do a great job with it.
