About this listen

A young shifter excited to take her place in the pack. A savage attack that could destroy her future.

Returning to her native Wisconsin with feline blood coursing through her, Jade is confused and disappointed when former packmates shun her. As she navigates a brand of bigotry she never knew existed, Jade fears she may be exiled from the home and family she loves.

Ostracized and alone, will Jade find a place she belongs?

The only reason the narration was marked down was because I've been listening to some very good narrators lately who've produced for popular best sellers. The story is intriguing and I can attest that I've lent the paperback version to a friend who has now gone full hungry-shark eyes-rolling-back-into-your-head on the series and has gotten her mitts on subsequent books. If you care more for the content than the delivery, you'll still enjoy this a bunch. If you're more for delivery, it can feel a bit conservative and a little bit like recitation than a captivating performance. Still not bad, but it can be a tough rating system out there when you look at the industry as a whole by comparison.

Good story, ok narration
