About this listen

Read the USA Today best seller!

It’s a new generation of de Wolfe Pack cubs, carrying on the tradition of their illustrious grandfather. Thomas “Tor” de Wolfe has his hands full with battling women and battling enemies as he secures a border castle for Edward I. Chaos is the name of the game!

Tor married, and lost, his wife at a young age. Because his wife was an orphan, he inherited her two sisters when they wed and when she died, they became his responsibility.

Unfortunately, the two spinster sisters view Tor as their property.

When Tor meets the worldly Isalyn de Featherstone, he is smitten. Isalyn, however, is not. Tor is big and handsome, but lives too much of a provincial life. She wants big cities, excitement, money, and no baggage of a dead wife. Isalyn’s father, however, feels differently – and Isalyn finds herself betrothed to the gentle de Wolfe giant. The spinsters have a new target.

Let the battles begin!

Enter a world of medieval mayhem, adventure, but most of all, of an overwhelming passion that soon consumes both Tor and Isalyn. Add an ambitious and jilted suitor into the mix, and it could mean the end for everything they have worked so hard to build.

But a strong love is worth fighting for, and no love is stronger than that of a de Wolfe.

One of The BEST

WolfeStrike is one of the best stories I have read or listened to on Audiobook in a very long time! It is an entrancing story of a grandson of William De Wolfe, Tor De Wolfe, and his struggles and adventures in winning a new love interest, Ishlyn, after 17 years of grieving the loss of his first wife! Kathryn Le Veque can weave a tale that can make you keep reading long after you should have been asleep hours ago! I recommend that if you are on a schedule, you delay until there is time to fully savor what you are reading! This is one tale that is full of intrigue, laughter, angst, mystery, pure joy and romance found in the most unexpected of places. Evil lurks where least expected, but family support can always be found when you most need it!

Congratulations Kathryn Le Veque and Brad Wills for a book that I had to read twice before I could write this review! Wonderful! I laughed, I cried, and spent a lot of time wondering where this intriguing book would take me next, and what emotion it could possibly next wring out of me! Get the book! This is one that will become a classic!

Story is just ok. Narrator 😞

The story may be better with a different narrator he did ok with male characters but dear lord the female voices sounded horrible all the female voices sounded like there were whining all the time it was irritating to say the least. I can’t express how bad the female voices are.

Kathryn Le Veque new books, like this one, do not have the depth of her earlier books.. But the hook over is good and fast paced so would recommend especially we the amazing Brad Willis performance that makes stories come to life.

Horrible narration

Why do men narrators screech when reading the women’s part? It’s truly awful! I have to take out my earphones!
