An incredible tale with vivid imagery!

I really thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I think the author did a fantastic job with describing surroundings and events. It was hard to put the book down at all! I would highly recommend this novel to anyone with an interest in the history of mental health.

The performance however was SO slow - it was perfect for me at 1.8x speed. If you read, I would recommend speeding it up to match a more reader-friendly pace!
