Dark and Creepy! Loved it!

Great job. Highly recommend! Great adult short stories with a wonderland twist or theme. Would listen to again.

Quite the collection

I really enjoyed the variety of these short stories and the narrators. Some stories were surprisingly darker than expected. Definitely worth a listen.

Good, but not what I expected

I'm a big fan of Alice in Wonderland, that is, Alice's Adventures Underground and Through the Looking Glass, so when I saw this collection, I thought it would be worth a try. And it was. The stories are good, but they were not what I expected from an anthology of Wonderland-inspired stories. The original Wonderland is a safe and benign place, no matter how many jabberwocks and assorted monsters. Though the Queen of Hearts is merciless and bloodthirsty, none of the executions ever quite come to fruition. It is a place where humor and nonsense reign. Most of the stories in this collection are quite serious. And dark. And often violent. With far too many allusions to the Reverend Dodgson's personal sins, which are quite separate from the world he created. The wit and whimsy of Wonderland are in scarce supply in these stories.

Dark Twists on Alice

Great stories. some got really dark. ther first was tough to get through for me: the almost 1950s Alice. it got better after.

i liked how different it was. unexpected.

I Keep Coming Back

I have so enjoyed this collection of stories and it keeps me coming back to listen again. I have been chasing down more works of the authors and narrators. Some of the stories are too painful for going through every time; others make me realize I need to revisit the originals to understand where they've jumped off better. I have also come to realize how many other stories riff off Alice in one way or another.
