An enjoyable listen

My favorite was the Haza & Ghani story. It was an easy listen and I stayed interested. Otherwise, there were hits & misses scattered throughout the book. I did enjoy the performances so overall it was worth my time.

Don't listen while you're going to sleep

Loved the stories and the voices were right on. But I listened while I was trying to sleep and it brought about some strange nightmares!

I really enjoyed the different stories.

I really enjoyed the different stories. I am not sure I completely understood a few of the endings and that’s just fine with me. I will definitely read the second book.

Sixty / Forty

I enjoyed about Sixty percent and skipped the other forty percent. The actors did good job. Some stories did not resonate with me.

Ok for collection

I found most of the short stories a little disappointing, maybe just because of the nature of short stories there’s not enough time to fully develop the idea

Refreshing take on myths

I loved listening to these stories and discovering the old myths woven into them. Some were quite easy to discover and others... well, I still wonder... which I LOVE!!

I love fairytales

Even the ones based on old folktales have something new to offer. A great collection to lose yourself in.

Not my favorite horror anthology but it was ok.

Im a hard core horror, suspense, dark fantasy, thriller, hard boiled crime, spine chilling adventure and dark sifi guy; I would not recommend this title for anyone who is well accustom to the more progressive and disturbing classic horror/macabre/Gothic and especially if your splatterpunk inclined! These stories are not of the Adam Neville,s, Andrew Van Wey, Robert Mccammon, Nick Cutter, Chuck Palahniuk or Windig; Caitlin R Kienan, Machacho, Koontz, John Langan or Stephen King. These are very light quik little stories that are interesting enough, I believe for the YA and those that like the more "G & PG" level or are new to the genre; this is a decent enough collection to pursue; Im trying to remain impartial; I really do not appreciate or respect customer reviews that are "flippant" "barbed" or even hostile at times! I truly am mift why someone needs to be so toxic just because they Didn't enjoy it or find it a waste of money- FOR THEM- But this will not be a truth for everyone; in fact- I read 70% of the literature that has been reviewed in a toxic, just spiteful manner- sometimes for no other reason than to attempt to see why the book was beat up with all the hyper-vigilance and dramatics. Those reviews show me a reader that is innately unhappy with most everything, has minimal maturity with even less integrity therefore making most all of those reviews and comments moot; at least for me anyway. I would be very dismayed if I knew that I discouraged someone from a product that could have been perfect for them- because it wasnt perfect for me. Narcissism knows no boundaries- so; this book is not my favorite cup of tea, but it was easy going down all the same! Cheers!
