About this listen

Astri and her close friends are forced to hide in the city. They're waiting for an opportunity to strike back at the dark mage who took over Rivenna by force - the same mage who's been hunting her since she was 11 years old.

When they leave the old mill to free her dear friend Emilia, people begin to spread terrible rumors. Apparently, Ruscal's planning to publicly execute his own brother.

It's a race against time and Astri knows that she can't let Jorgen die. Will Astri save Jorgen and her beloved City of Rivenna or will Ruscal triumph once again?

Wyvern's Destiny (Mage Chronicles, Book 4) is the epic ending to the Mage Chronicles series. I love this urban fantasy series & highly recommend listening to it as it is fantastic. A highly intriguing novel & series with well seasoned characters & a narrative that draws you in keeps you captivated until the end. The world building descriptions are well detailed & descriptive. The writing style covers the genre perfectly. A magical read that will stay with you. I'm just sad to see it end. Absolutely loved it. The ending was fittingly perfect.

Narrator Jacq Ainsworth continues to bring a intriguing performance. I just love her tone and the different intonations she uses for the supporting character's. Especially when they call her Astri it is so funny. A smooth and consistent naration. I hope to listen to this narator again in the future.

A highly entertaining listen.
