About this listen
Wyatt Westlock has one plan for the farmhouse she's just inherited—to burn it to the ground. But during her final walkthrough of her childhood home, she makes a shocking discovery in the basement—Peter, the boy she once considered her best friend, strung up in chains and left for dead.
Unbeknownst to Wyatt, Peter has suffered hundreds of ritualistic deaths on her family's property. Semi-immortal, Peter never remains dead for long, but he can't really live, either. Not while he's bound to the farm, locked in a cycle of grisly deaths and painful rebirths. There's only one way for him to break free. He needs to end the Westlock line.
He needs to kill Wyatt.
With Wyatt's parents gone, the spells protecting the property have begun to unravel, and dark, ancient forces gather in the nearby forest. The only way for Wyatt to repair the wards is to work with Peter—the one person who knows how to harness her volatile magic. But how can she trust a boy who's sworn an oath to destroy her? When the past turns up to haunt them in the most unexpected way, they are forced to rely on one another to survive, or else tear each other apart.

I have never been favored by the gods. Far from it, thanks to Zeus. Living as a cursed office clerk for the Order of Thieves, I just keep my head down and hope the capricious beings who rule from Olympus won’t notice me. Not an easy feat, given San Francisco is Zeus’ patron city, but I make do. I survive. Until the night I tangle with a different god. The worst god. Hades. For the first time ever, the ruthless, mercurial King of the Underworld has entered the Crucible—the deadly contest the gods hold to determine a new ruler to sit on the throne of Olympus.

Story
Looking for a new fantasy romance series that combines the "snarky mortal woman navigates a world hostile to her species" vibes of The Serpent and the Wings of Night with the "questioning my chastity vow in the face of this hot new mysterious male in my life" energy of From Blood and Ash plus the "we're conducting an investigation together but are struggling to keep our hands off each other" tension of Crescent City: House of Earth and Blood? The Memory Puller just might be your next obsession.

I just have some questions. maybe it's details I missed or not. might have to do a relisten to understand.
dark, romantic, pretty
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
As I listened it became a twisted dark Peter Pan version, that I didn’t expect, so that was fun.
The theme is heavy, and could be disturbing to some; ritualistic child sacrifice that isn’t graphic.
The story has multiple POV, but mainly narrated by the main female character Wyatt.
I liked Wyatt’s innocent naive personality, though at times she did become annoyingly childlike. I enjoyed her optimism, and forgiving nature, but did become frustrated with her lack of urgency, and confidence.
Peter was a heartbreakingly enigma character, I really enjoyed his personality, how despite everything he’s experienced his spirit was never truly broken.
James was an amusing one who I also liked, his personality a perfect contrast to the others that brought on a sarcastic snarky fun, though his counterpart was infuriatingly cruel.
The voice performances were great, I appreciated the their voice changes during the reading.

An Outstanding story ..
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
The novel follows Wyatt Westbrook, a boy plagued by supernatural abilities and a haunted past, who returns to his mysterious hometown after years in exile. What begins as a simple homecoming quickly spirals into a nightmarish unraveling of hidden family curses, rituals drenched in blood, and a love that refuses to die. Andrew’s writing is spellbinding—poetic without ever losing momentum, immersive without sacrificing clarity.
What makes Your Blood, My Bones so unforgettable is its emotional depth. Wyatt’s inner torment, his connection to the eerie forest that looms over the town, and his slow-burning romance with the enigmatic Peter are all layered with grief, longing, and resilience. The magic in this story isn’t just in the supernatural—though there’s plenty of that—it’s in how Andrew captures the brokenness of her characters and lets them find strength in their vulnerability.
The pacing is sharp, the mystery is suspenseful, and the horror elements are rich with folklore and dread. But at its heart, Your Blood, My Bones is about what we inherit—love, pain, magic—and what we choose to become despite it.
Verdict:
Dark, emotional, and stunningly written, Your Blood, My Bones is a gothic triumph. Perfect for fans of The Raven Cycle and The Secret History, this book will seep into your bones and stay with you long after the last page.
Book Review: Your Blood, My Bones by Kelly Andrew

She is too stubborn and naive. Eventually I had to skip through her parts and just get to Pedyr.
I wouldn't recommend this audible to anyone.
