Cryptic Sarcastic

To the point (eventually.) This isn’t your average self-help book. In fact, it isn’t a self-help book at all - more like a messy slew of words and past personal experiences that have been typed and formatted into a comedic side quest. These stories and passages might possibly help the reader learn about the daily pandemic of thinking that being normal and mediocre means you’re a failure.

This book was witty, funny, sarcastic and surprisingly relatable. We're not special, but in that we are also not alone, and I'm okay with that!

Audible hoped I enjoyed this program... and I did!

Holy cow! This book! I seriously recommend the audiobook, the narrator does such an amazing job at bringing the emotions to life here. This is a relatable read, because You're Not Special And That's Okay. Author Nicolette Fuller takes us on an hilarious and cynical adventure that is life. 90's kids, pour yourself a tall glass of Surge, because this self-help book is about to take you back in time. Of course, we come back, we always come back. But, it might surprise you at how alike most of us think. Especially when it comes to social media and how it impacts our daily life. Are friendships really friendships? Or are we all just trying to fill each other's void for a time that's needed? Is our dreams worth pursuing? What about those rich motivational quotes we all love to share? What good do they really do?
