About this listen

"Betrayal, deceit, and friendship - ZETAS TILL WE DIE has it all...an engaging, can't-put-it-down thriller that twists and turns through these women's lives then and now, making you wonder how well you know anyone." - Darby Kane, bestselling author of Pretty Little Wife

SISTERS…FOR LIFE.

It’s been ten years since Priscilla and her Zeta Phi Zeta sorority sisters graduated college. Ten years since they were all in the same room together. Ten years since one of them died. And now Lupé’s killer has been released from prison on a technicality, days before their ten-year reunion.

Priscilla decides that the party must go on; Lupé would have wanted it to. And besides, an epic reunion bash might be the perfect distraction. Back together, the Zetas party like it’s 2012, and it’s wild, just the way it used to be. Maybe too wild. At least everyone makes it out alive this time…or so they think.

When one of them doesn’t return home after the party, Priscilla begins to realize that there might be more to Lupé’s murder and that someone is out for blood. With the murderer in their midst circling closer and closer, the Zetas are forced to confront what really happened the night Lupé died—and the secrets each of them swore to keep.

I enjoyed listening to this book!

I did enjoy listening to this book, but the storyline was just a little drawnout. But I recommend if you’re into mild thrillers!

Is this what sorority sisterhood is like? Evil

The writing was interesting. Like the author couldn’t decide what writing “devices” to utilize. At times clichés with trite sayings were inserted. Reading of the court transcripts and characters’ inner thoughts and memories provided needed background. NONE of the characters were likable. They were mostly pretentious and had intense opinions about each other. Perhaps reading the print version of the story would be less confusing related to who was speaking. Towards the end the story got better was easier to listen to and understand. No spoilers here but the ending was surprisingly disturbing disgusting and sad.

Zeta forgiveness

Being a Zeta, the title drew me in but the story kept me there. I loved the suspense. the turns and surprises. it allows you to understand that life happens but forgiveness is the ultimate key in the end.

Engaging read!

About 1/3 of the way into the book, I just knew who the killer was. However, I was wrong. I was right to be suspicious of the person whom I was suspicious of, but that person was not the killer. Good book overall, that kept my interest peaked.

Really Good

Complex story with back and forth past and present but not every chapter which was a nice change. Character development was excellent as understanding these women is necessary when the plot unfolds. Although I wish the ending were different, I understand why it did end the way it did. I’ll just keep going to spin it a bit lol!

Narration by both was great. They captured the characters personalities and conveyed genuine emotions.

Decent read but the end was rushed.

The story setup for this really interesting suspect for what happened years ago. But then it did this ‘twist’ that didn’t really land. It was an unsatisfying ending. Otherwise, I loved the characters and everyone’s friendship.

Sisterhood gone terribly wrong

The storyline was believable. Each chapter build upon the next.
There were lots of twists and turns. The writers wrote in one voice. I was totally surprised by the conclusion. Those in sororities will appreciate the sisterhood themes woven throughout the book.

Twisty Turns Abound

The narrator was very good and well paced. We often read reviews about “twists and turns”. This novel has more of them than a knarly tree! Just as you are about to glide a minute, here comes a punch from left or center field. I heard myself say “You are kidding!” Several times as we veered off course. There’s a good deal of sexuality and descriptive sexual scenes. Very straight forward, yet irritating.

Engaging read on the theme of friendships

Even though the solution to the crime was obvious from the first quarter of the book, the characters and dialogue were compelling enough to keep me engaged. I give the authors credit for writing human beings with all their flaws especially when it comes to discerning the truth of who their best friends are and who they are. What is the cost of taking people at face value? This books reflects upon this question. Interesting read.

Skip it

Looooong and drawn out story without much payoff. ZETAS TILL WE DIE started out strong but quickly went downhill.
