Chief of Police for Prospect Park, Pa Dave Madonna is approaching his 30th year in law enforcement and has many words of wisdom for us all. We have known Officer Madonna for many years now, but never got the opportunity to sit down and really ask the important questions…or the questions that Carly has been dying to ask for years now. We learn a lot about the criminal mind and certainly a lot about Carly’s mind. It is a jump scare of sorts for it all.

    We are newly found believers that sometimes it’s better if you just don’t try so hard. Hear me out…when you know your energy capacity is about 40%, and you perform at the max of that 40% then you are doing 100% of your ability. When you know you only have 40% and you try to push it to be a full 100% even though the tank is empty…what’s the point? You’ll make mistakes. You won’t feel good about what you’re doing. You’ll exhaust yourself more. These days when life is life-ing, you just have to go with the flow and listen to your body and mind. This week it told us to not overdue it and just catch up. Shoot the shit. Talk about nothing and everything all at once. So that is what we did! We hope you tune in and zone out, like we did!
